Just reading that news story updated...see previous link...

'Earlier in the day, a thunderstorm produced a tornado near Bombala, while wind gusts of close to 100km/h were recorded at Ti****urra in the north west of the state.'

That's well north west but this is a nasty storm.
As I get closer to home the sky is black and pouring. But electrical seems gone.

They say we will have more storms this week

What do you mean by this? At our house or points for Disney? I am saving a week for you at BCV for the meet....Nan is interested in some that I have now, but not sure how many....are you thinking for HK Disney? Those would be pretty expensive. I looked at TDL and the price of points was about equal to the price of $'s with the exchange rate. So much that we were thinking of using points even though people say trading is not a good idea.

We are basically all suffering under the same weather system. Rail network was seriously stuffed up. Hope things are ok for you in the morning?
Not really sure what to expect for us.

Just hoping I'll sleep tonight...I did have a summer layering cut done but long hair isn't good in humidity [yes...cut...not trim...6 inches...and still...noone really notices...]

No one notices when I have a hair cut either. Same style....many years!

Yes...hoping I'll be able to get to sleep too. My hayfever is playing up something shocking these last two days.
I'm going to stay home tomorrow. No point dicing it with the weather when I don't really have to. It'll be full on again next week, so I'm just going to enjoy these next couple of days.

Yes I'd stay home. Mum gets to work faster than me but drives quite a distance (reverse peak hour) and she'll watch the weather and might stay home depending on how things are. It's just not worth it if you can take the day.

Do you drive or travel with the commoners?

I'm sorry about your hayfever As I've said I take a preventative (Telfast/Allegra) because it can trigger migraines...etc etc...and around we go...
Took me half a day to work out what was wrong when I'd missed my morning dose a few months back...

Hope it gets better. That's the one thing this weather should help with...if the winds die down. The rain should dump all the irritants out of the air.

Going to shutdown the computer now and turn in....when I can drag myself from the AC...
