OK so I'm not crazy! I didn't think I saw that update.

Arline never called me back today. She is extremely technologically challenged and just signing up for the DIS was a problem for her. Obviously! I've done the first post on the PTR but by now it's back on the third page, so she'll never find it.

I have another update ready to go to bring it to the front page, but until she gets signed up and calls me that she's in, I don't want to post it. Then I'll have to explain to her how to subscribe to threads when she replies. Once that's under control I'll post the link so everyone can come join the party! :thumbsup2

I'd like to try to make it to page 1 too....but I'm guessing that this will happen whilst I'll be sleeping. Oh well...maybe next time.

Okay. I've updated Napa!

Welcome to my current situation.....

Here's the question. What's worse. The weather outside. Or this project....
And should I escape the city before the storms get worse?
My train line is block but I'm getting the bus home today so I just need to hope this no big smashes on the roads.....

Sigh.....

Leave now.

That was us this morning...only with a lot more yellow and orange on the chart. It was a nightmare getting into work this morning.

Leave now.

Has the storm gone by?

It's a work in progress. Melbourne sent it up to us

My bus makes three stops before leaving the CBD.
Let's just say it ain't making stop two or three. And those stops have virtually no shelter
Got a seat in the bun rush. They need to get the longer buses on this route.

They've opened all the ticket barriers at the stations and even on lines without downed power lines like mine. Delays are up to an hour :confused3

I think the worst has past in the CBD. But seriously. This is bad even for our crappy network.

It should be safe. Just gonna be slow :lmao:

Was seriously going to drive in today and it would have been better. Could have escaped the city via the other bridge. Whereas a bus takes a set route.

Oh well....

I'm a lucky one in all relativity. There's others joining this route who ordinarily get trains. They are all heading north. And my northern line is blocked by a tree.

So there's people marooned at train and bus stations.

Just catching up

So have you been sleeping at all usnuz

Hope you can find something Dana. At least you're getting some money as you head to Christmas. But I'm sorry you're not liking the job.

My brother loves sweet and sour battered like that. I prefer just the flavour and all with unbattered. I can get that at restaurants by getting combination sweet and sour.

Get home safe Queenie. Glad you're on the bus and with bun parked!

We're expecting more of the same tomorrow morning...only worse. I think we had about 15 - 20 mm of rain (about 3/4 of an inch) in 20 minutes in the CBD this morning.

They are predicting between 20 - 40 mm of thunderstorm rain to fall in an equally short time tomorrow morning.
