Breakfast reservation question

This is a silly question but I haven't found any concrete answer - so hoping to ask those with similar experiences ! I have made a reservation for breakfast at 8am at Carnation Cafe for June 15th. My question is I will NOT have Magic Morning access so my question is this : Will I be able to enter Main St a little early - say 7:45am to make sure I can make my reservation without having to stress about them giving it away ? Or should I try to push it back to 8:30am to be safe ? With CarsLand opening as well I know traffic will be much heavier at both parks.

Any suggestions or experience from others would be great ! Thanks in advance :thumbsup2

I'm pretty sure one of the gates will be open for people in similar situations - when you go up to it they will have your name on a list and let you through with someone to direct you to the restaurant. Make sure you let them know that you do not want your MM taken off your ticket (ETA: just read you won't have access to MM so this shouldn't be an issue) as you are entering early for a dining reservation.

At least this is the case with Minnie's Character breakfast but it might be different for Carnation but hopefully someone else can provide a second opinion!

I don't normally have any reservations about breakfast. :)

~~ I love you Phil and you will forever be with me! Forever my very best and most special friend! I love you to no end. ~~

You should have no problems at all getting in a few minutes early for your reservation. Go to gate #1 and they will check your name and scan you into the park. We had someone escort us to the Plaza Inn for our breakfast. There was no line to get in and no trouble making our reservation. Enjoy! :)

Thanks for the replies ! I didn't think I could also ask someone at the gates the day before since we are arriving early afternoon of the 14th to activate our AP's and spend a few hours in DL as well since we are there early ! Appreciate the tips . I cannot wait to leave !
