Breakfast pre-rope drop

So we will be rope dropping each of the four parks at least once in our trip, often for extra magic hours and we really only have one big breakfast scheduled (Tusker House). If it was just one early morning I would totally be alright with Diet Coke and a granola bar and a hardy "we'll eat in a few hours!" But doing that every morning seems more like boot camp and less like a vacation.

So my question is: what do people do for breakfast on those early mornings? Do any of the parks have ways to buy food while you are waiting for rope drop? Anyone have suggestions for early grab n go options in the Epcot resort area (we're staying at the Swan)? We're not really breakfast cereal in the room kind of people but we're certainly not above a hasty egg mcmuffin style breakfast.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.:D

We've grabbed smoothies, donuts and coffee from a little stand right outside of the Epcot entrance while waiting for the park to open!

At Magic you can get all the way to the castle before rope drop. That means Starbucks is open and I believe the ice cream shop offers a donut sundae in the morning.

There is early room service at many hotels.

Savory options are very limited. Boardwalk Bakery is open in the morning, so you might want to take a look at their menu. I don't know if you'll have time to grab something before getting the bus for all parks, but perhaps before EP or HS.

In EP, the French bakery is open at 9:00 (don't know if it's open with early EMH), so you could stop there on your way into EP; they have both sweet and savory.

All parks have a Starbucks with regular Starbucks type breakfast sandwiches and pastries, but they are inside the parks, so you'll have to wait until you get in.

Yacht and Beach Club both have QS locations as well that will do a hot breakfast. Or at least something a bit more filling than a granola bar. That, combined with being allowed into Main Street prior to MK opening should give you some options. You're probably a little limited at AK, but since you're doing Tusker House (an excellent and delicious choice!) that shouldn't be a problem.

I use the coffee maker to heat hot water and make instant oatmeal. I also use Garden Grocer and get a coffee cake or something similar to have on hand.

I usually make a light breakfast in the room to tide me over for the early hours, then grab something else mid-morning.

I am throwing around the idea of making a banana bread, muffins or oatmeal cakes and bringing them for quick breakfasts. I already have my coffee planned out for the hotel room (can't stand the roll the dice coffee in hotel lobby's and hotel rooms). Most of the time I think we'll try to hit breakfast in our hotel though as early as possible (Doubletree in Disney springs).

Usually we did bagels, cream cheese, and/or yogurt made in the room before heading out for the day, and often brought to the bus stop and eaten while waiting for the bus to arrive. This time we will be in a deluxe and will have a kitchen so I think we will have eggs delivered to the room too as making eggs on toast is quick, and the protein boost would be nice. Our last trip to Disneyland we had a kitchen (rental house) and a huge group so we all pitched in and made like 70 breakfast burritos on our arrival night and then microwaved them in the mornings and ate them on our 20 minute walk to the park. That worked great as they were self contained in the tin foil wrapper and offered some respite from the unending counter service food Disneyland offers. (Love that WDW offers SO MUCH MORE in the way of food!) Burritos would actually work at a deluxe in WDW too now that I think about it if someone truly wanted a savory, homemade, rib-sticking, time-saving, portable, and cheaper-than-a-restaurant option and was willing to put in the initial work.

Pack instant oatmeal brackets and use the coffee maker for hot water.

If you have your own transportation, get bagels and cream cheese. That's my favorite quick breakfast.

Lots of great suggestions here. Thanks! Oddly enough while I think my husband would look askance at cold cereal in the morning on vacation I think a couple mornings of oatmeal would go over alright.:D
