Breakfast on vacation

When we are at the BCV between Christmas and New Year's, DD has already planned on making Pancakes every morning!LOL

We were joking last night how she would love to make breaky for anyone else!

So if you are there and smell pancakes.........

Knock on the Door!LOL

PS Don't let her know I mentioned this!

We do breakfast in the room. DH will make breakfast sandwiches for those that want them(if we are travelling with a group). We also have fresh fruit salad(nothing like fresh fruit in Florida!), bagels, toast etc for those that may like a lighter breakfast. We also get some snack-type foods (chips & dip, cheese & crackers) and beverages as well, for snacking later in the day. We usually are not in the room at lunch, so we tend to eat in the parks. We also tend to like to go out for dinner, or, if we have been at a park all day, sometime we just sort of "nosh" all day and don't do a specific dinner. This works especially well at the World Showcase, and especially, especially well if it is during the F&W Festival!

Breakfast always in the room now. That is all we do besides snacks, the other meals are out. Usually counter service for lunch, then a PS dinner.

Breakfast is simple - muffins, waffles, cereal, fruit...

Gone are the days of character breakfasts. It just seems logical to eat breakfast in the room. Saves money and time. Character meals are at lunch or dinner.

Chef Mickey's breakfast is our only exception. It is a tradition for us now. We either start or end each trip there.

Even this upcoming trip with just hubby and me I plan on us eating breakfast in the room.

We evolved into breakfast in the room due to the awful coffee in the Disney restaurants. What is that stuff anyway?? At first we just brought the bag of Starbucks but slowly began adding cereal, fruit and bagels for the convenience and savings.

Now that DD is a teenager, there is no way to get out early and have breakfast. We're lucky to make it to the Parks by 10:00.

We make breakfastr every morning on our stay. We do things from simple cereal to pancakes or belgian waffles.

..just IS vacation!!!!

Nothing fancy, plenty of coffee, cereal or toast...and just enjoying the view and the fact we're HOME.

We'll do a buffet breakfast once or twice but even then, coffee on the balcony is a must :teeth:
