Breakfast Near EPCOT-any ideas?

I was planning to do breakfast at/near EPCOT early. I do not want the character breakfast at Norway. I was thinking of soemthing either at the Boardwalk or Y&B-any suggestions?
Also, I wanted to enter EPCOT through the back/side entrance by the Beach Club-what time does the gate open?

You could try the Goofy Character breakfast at Cape May Cafe in Beach Club, or grab something at the Boardwalk Bakery, or Beach Club is supposed to have a really neat marketplace type store/food court.

I've had a danish from Boardwalk Bakery that DH brought back to our studio. It was pretty good. I haven't been to the places at Beach Club.

We've also had pastries at a coffee shop in Epcot that is close to innoventions, and at the Counter Service place in Norway. I've heard good things about pastries in the France pavillion as well.

I'm sure Swan and Dolphin do something for Breakfast as well. This may be your best bet if you want sit down with no characters.

You do get DVC discounts at the S&D's restaurants. We haven't been there since the cafeteria was Tubbi's, but we have always enjoyed the restaurants there. It's just a matter of not being in that area recently, not that we had a bad experience over there.

We also have enjoyed breakfast at Spoodles.

And the Character Breakfast at BC is something on our "to do" list as well.

Spoodles on the Boardwalk and Market Fresh (at the Dolphin) are both good if you are looking for a table service place.

The International Gateway opens when the main entrance opens. But you can't go all over the World Showcase. They have a route opened up to get to Future World.

The French bakery isn't open until 11AM when the World Showcase opens up.

You could get something the evening before and have it for breakfast in the morning. The BC Marketplace also has some breakfast offerings.

They also have a very nice breakfast at Yacht Club Galley. You can do either buffet or table service there. Not everyone has to do the same. When DH and I go, he gets the table service, but I get the buffet. Very good!

I had the Goofy character breakfast at Cape May Cafe a very long time ago, and it was one of my favorites.

Fresh at the Dolphin serves a fabulous buffet breakfast (and great coffee, too). And to sweeten the deal, there's a 20% DVC discount!

The character breakfast at Beach Club gets my vote!!

We just ate there last Saturday....Mickey waffles, eggs, danish, fresh fruit, bacon, ohhhhh I can't recall all of it. It was great though!!

Don't forget the blintzes. And the frittata (or omlet) whatever they call it. Very good.

Fresh @ the Dolphin is probably the best buffet breakfast I have had on Disney property - only caviat is that you cannot bill to your room unless you are staying @ the Swan/Dolphin...

Boardwalk Bakery would get my vote if you want something quick. Plus, you can sit at one of the nice little tables near the water on the boardwalk.

Spoodles has a nice breakfast, but it's longer & a sit down thing.

Fresh at the S&D...I don't know about it. Sounds good though.

If you want to fill up for the morning and early afternoon, do the character buffet at the Beach Club.

If you want an upscale breakfast in a sit down situation, go to Spoodles.

My favorite choice, though, and most economical is the Boardwalk Bakery. Gotta love those Cinnamon Yummies! They have breakfast sandwiches and plaenty of other pastries too.

We have tried every restaurant in the Boardwalk area as our Home is the Boardwalk. My favorite is Fresh. Great cooked to order foods also the coffee is starbucks.

My second chouce would be spoodles
