Breakfast at wilderness lodge

Have an 8:45am reservation at Whispering Canyon we are going to MK afterwards. How do we get the Wilderness lodge. Is there a boat we take?

Where are you coming from? There is a boat that travels between Magic Kingdom and Wilderness Lodge.

There is a boat and a bus that you can take to get from MK to the WL. The bus ride is about five minutes long. The boat ride takes about twelve minutes.

The boat is a great peaceful ride though, with some great views both coming from and going to the MK

Boat ride from WL dock to MK. The boat ride is pleasant, quiet, and uncrowded. Depending on when you get to the dock, it may also be shorter than the wait for the boat!

You can drive to WL for breakfast and then go to MK and park in the MK lot.

You can park at the MK and take the boat to WL. However doing this will take quite a bit of time. You have to park at the TTC, ride the monorail or ferry to the MK, then catch the boat to WL. It might be hard to make an 8:45 reservation. If you are staying onsite, taking the bus to the MK will be easier because it drops right at the entrance to the park near where the boat dock is. The monorail and ferry can get pretty crowded in the morning causing you to have to wait. If you are going to park at the TTC you need to give yourself plenty of time to make all of the transfers. It's doable. Have fun!!!

Last the last full week before Xmas we ate breakfast at WC. We were staying off site.

It was our first full day, Sunday, and the only park time we had was the MVMCP that night. Our plan was to Eat at WC and then tour the Monorail resorts before getting to the party around 4 ish.

We had a 9:30 ADR and had no issues parking at the TTC and then taking the monorail over to the MK and then the boat to WL.

We probably got to the TTC a little before 8:30. Got to the MK as the opening show was going on and was 10-15 minutes early for our ADR.

One note, visiting the monorail resorts is not an all morning early afternoon tour. Our plan was to eat CS at one of those resorts but we had so much time we took a bus to eat at B&C.
