Breakfast at resorts

I have a couple of reservations for breakfast at various resorts. I was thinking about taking my car from Caribbean beach and parking at the various resorts for breakfast. The question is can I leave my car at the resort if I plan on going to the parks after? Then pick the car up on the way back at the end of the night.

Supposedly you are only supposed to do that for a few hours but....I have parked at Ohana for breakfast and return mid afternoon with no consequences. Same is true for Chef Mickey with the Contemporary. Never had any issues but I may have just been lucky.
