We had dinner in Dec at Boma and I wasn't overly happy with the seasonings. We are planning on doing the breakfast buffet in June. Do the breakfast items have the seasoning or are they "normal, ordinary" breakfast items? Thanks. Debby

We have not been to Boma's breakfast before, but will be going on our next trip.

What we have read is that they have standard breakfast items (scrambled eggs, omelet bar, pastries, fruit, etc) and some items with the spices.

One recommendation I read is that if you decide to try some of the items with spices, put them on a separate plate. That way the spiced items do not get mixed in with something like scrambled eggs.

I thought I was the only one that didn't like the dinner at Boma- LOL I have heard that the breakfasts are "normal" with some of the other "seasoned" foods too. I want to do breakfast next we go- so let us know how it goes.:thumbsup2

We love breakfast at Boma. They have everything a regular breakfast buffet would have- yogurt, fruit, pastries, cereal, waffles, eggs, french toast, potatoes, sausage, bacon, ham, an omelette station etc. But then they have a few specialty items as well, which we happen to love- our favorites are the sausage curry biscut dish and the bobootie? bojotie? I can't remember what it's called but it's a corned beef dish and is very good. If you aren't an "experimental" eater there is still PLENTY of stuff. Check out the Food Pictures Thread I think the second one has several pictures that people took of the buffet.

Enjoy!

We always do Boma breakfast.

Everyone is correct. There is a selection of the more unusually-seasoned items, and there are lots of "regular" items. In fact, I think that it leans more towards the standard fare --- and it's a very wide selection. Eggs, omelets, waffles, French toast, sausage, bacon, hot cereals (oatmeal, quinoa), cold cereals, yogurts, fruits, pastries. I can't imagine that anyone would not find something to satisfy.

The house juice is called "Frunch" -- a yummy mixture of mango juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, and lemon juice.

If you like really, really good coffee, you can order a press pot of Kenyan coffee. Costs a little more than the standard coffee. But, in my opinion, it's the best coffee at WDW. A close 2nd is the press pot of Hawaiian coffee at Kona.

Enjoy!

Boma breakfast is my favorite in all of WDW, I cannot get enough of it and I really wish I could eat there now!
