Breakfast at BOG--splitting meals, will this be enough?

Yes 2 was enough for us, DH is a big eater and he was even full. We have done this twice now, works out well for us!

Thank you for the input. Since lunch at Cinderella's castle charges 2 credits per person, we need to save a couple credits or else we will have to pay for dinner out of pocket that day.

It was "just right" for two normal sized adults. The pastries are not refilled and are quite small. My son, at age 17, was a slim and fit runner of about 150 pounds. It was definitely NOT enough for him. We had breakfast at 8am and were hungry for lunch by 1pm.

For MONIMA: CRT is two table service credits on DDP; BOGR B'fast and lunch is Quick Service. The two can not be combined unless you are on the Deluxe Dining Plan, which does not split credits between TS and QS.

Also you receive your full allotment of dining credits at checkin. Use them as you wish, there is no daily allotment restrictions

I don't understand what you mean by combined.
If we have breakfast at BOG and lunch at the Castle, that would be using 3 credits per person for that day, correct ?
If that is correct and we only order 3 meals at BOG, I would be saving 1 credit that I could use for dinner somewhere that day, right ?
I know it is not a good use of credit, but we could use the 1 credit we saved at BOG for some Quick Service Meals, right?

Thank you. I was trying to make the best use of our credits without having to pay out of pocket for a meal since the Castle costs 2 credits per person.

Which dining plan do you have?

Deluxe Dining Plan for 3 nights for 4 adults since our 11yr old counts as an adult. So we should have 36 credits, correct ?
So far I booked:
Friday AK
Tusker House Bfast 8:35
Rainforest Lunch 12:30 ( planning on splitting 3 meals)
Tusker House ROL Dinner 4:50
Total of 11 credits

Saturday Epcot
Garden Grill Bfast 8:05
Chef de la france Lunch 12:50 (planning on splitting 3 meals)
Biergarten Dinner 6:00
Total of 11 credits

Sunday Magic Kingdom
BOG B'fast 9:25 (planning on splitting 3 meals )
Cinderella Castle Lunch 2:40
No dinner reservation
Total of 11 credits

That would leave us 3 credits to get some dinner Sunday eve.
Does that sound right ?

Yes. I think the confusion came from not knowing you had Deluxe Dining.

Thank you everybody. I had no idea that Disney required this much planning.
Love this site and all the help I can find here.

We have ADRs for a PPO (8:15) BOG this Sunday! It is me (adult female) and my sons who are 17 and 10.
The cost is pretty high for a CS breakfast...and I see that they also bring a selection of pastries to the table.
I was thinking of just getting the "assorted meats and cheeses" platter and a "croissant donut" for the 3 of us to split. Do you think those, along with the pastries, should be enough? We have a 4:30 reservation at Sci Fi for dinner but don't plan on eating a real lunch--maybe just grabbing ice cream or other snacks if we feel hungry.

My ds is now 12 and we ate at bog breakfast two years ago. The portions were very small and ds went to get a snack immediately after. The adult lunch portions seem better in my opinion, but kids meals still very small.

The pastry tray is bite sized from what I recall. They weren't full size danishes or croissants and the quantity was small.

So, here is what I would do. I would do as you said and order 2 things to split, and 3 drinks. DON'T pre order. When you get there, each of you order separately. You can each scan you band and use the credits. By doing this, you will get 3 pastry trays instead of 1. This way you will each have a pastry tray, and then also can split the meals. We have a family of 6 and every time we make the ADR for 6, but when we arrive we split into small groups of 2 once we check in. We then get 3 pastry trays.
