Can anyone help out on a breakfast dilemma? We're (family of 5) splitting our time between HIFS (my group loves the breakfast buffet) and HRH. So, we will be spoiled since we've been starting off with a satisfying meal. Prices for breakfast at HRH appear expensive (but then again, we'll be spoiled after HIFS!). So, other than grabbing a bite in the parks, what would any of you suggest?

Do the continental breakfast buffet. It's only around $7. A breakfast sandwich and coffee in the parks will cost about that much anyway.

I wouldn't necessarily say you would be spoiled...we stayed at hifs in Dec. and the breakfast buffet was not all that great....it was nice to have since it was free but it seems that every time i went through the line some kid was sneezing in the eggs or on the bagels......NASTY!!!!! Maybe that is why so many people get sick when they go to disney. Too many buffets......not enough parent supervision.

I agree about the lack of parental supervision at breakfast buffet. Aside from hygiene issues, I can't stand the parents of the Rugrat
who allow them to waste such tremendous amounts of food. Don't get me wrong, I don't think the buffet at HIFS is an epicurean's delight. We are the cereal, yogurt, fruit fans anyway. I've never met a steam table egg I've liked! I guess I like the idea of not shelling out the cash since I've already paid through my room res. The idea of shelling out $4 for a bagle at IOA resorts is a bit mind boggling! In 28 trips, we've only suffered 2 bouts of food-related illness--and they were both at Disney table service restaurants.

We went to the IHOP on I-Drive each day of our stay at HRH. It was great! We don't have IHOPs here in KY so we love going there on vacation. Plus, it wasn't hard to get to from HRH. And I'm sure its cheaper than their restaurants.

We loved the HRH!! Have a good trip!
