Has anyone done this character meal? It's one of our options and I'm just wondering how it is! Thanks!

there's quite a few topics on this. personally, i've done quite a few character meals and this is one of my bottom two. i have gathered from quite a few other reviews that if this is your first character meal or if you have a very late ADR, this may not be a disappointment.

Are you referring to the Character breakfast at Restaurantosaurus AK? I have two boys and they LOVED it...they were 9 and 12 the last time we ate there and really liked the "boy" friendly characters and their silliness. Food was good too which made Mom happy!

We did Breafasttasarous a few weeks ago. We were late getting there but were seated within 5 min. There was a long line for people with no reservations trying to get in. It was the four of us. One 8 year old and 16 year old. Even the 16 year old had a good time. Food was really good. Service was awesome but it was everywhere we dined. We were on the dining plan.

I finally got my pictures up there are some from Breafastasarous in the Animal Kingdom folder check them out.

Another CS we went to was Tucker House that is now another Favorite of ours. Were going back in September for another trip. We got home and wish we were still there so were going back.

Another one that really didn't like it. The restaurant is normally a counter service so they change over to a buffet breakfast and add characters. We kept getting lukewarm milk to drink and the server explained this to us, saying that since they were normally a CS they didn't have anything but coolers for milk, didn't get it as cold?

The food was good but the character interations were so so, as were the servers we had.

We much prefer the Crystal Palace or Chef Mickeys for Breakfast. But I'm sure our experience wasn't the experience of everyone as it was a packed breakfast and others seemed to enjoy it.

I couldn't get past the fact that it's a McDonald's during the rest of the day. They just put screens up in front of the cash registers and try to act like it's not. The food was pretty much the same at every other breakfast buffet. We went because it was the perfect cast of characters for our DS. It took forever and ever though. The characters didn't get to our table until almost 45 minutes after we were done eating. We just sat there and waited and waited. We probably won't return this trip.

It was not one of our favorites either. The dining area was really large, so we had to wait a while for the characters. Donald (the reason we went) came while I was at the buffet and didn't return, so I missed him all together. Therefore, I have to agree with the posters who said that character interaction was not great.

We really liked it, the food was good and plenty of it and the characters were a blast

We really like it too. It was a good character breakfast for my two boys (age 9). My one son likes Mickey and the other likes Donald, so I thought this was a good place to go. We aren't big into character interaction, just some pictures. I guess if you like the characters to do more than autographs and pictures, if might not be for you. The food was really good and the server was fun. They told you when the characters would be at your table, so you knew not to get up and go to the buffet. They sat us in a small back room, with about 6 or 7 tables so it didn't take long for the characters to stop by. We had 8:00am reservations and finished in time to be one of the first ones on EE.
