Brazilian groups and FP+ and magic bands

Has anyone experienced how the FP+ and magic bands have effected how the Brazilian tour groups are working. I know from previous travels the tour groups are a nightmare and there is always that one guy who gets a bajillion Brazilian fast passes. Anyone know?

Is July the heaviest month for the Brazilian Tour Groups. We were there last year during July and they were everywhere all week. Are there not as many in June? If so we want to go in June. At the water parks they put belongings on all the chairs saving the whole park for themselves.

This is something I've been thinking about as well. With reports of long lines at FP entrances with people in line before their return time, my guess is, this summer, it's gonna be a nightmare with the tour groups. Here's to hoping Disney has taken the necessary measure to insure this doesn't become as big of a problem as it has the potential to be.

We went in January and saw the BTG but they never affected us or our FP+ Granted we avoided them when we saw them (going in opposite direction, or speeding up to get around them). Now January and July crowds are very different but from our experience they were not a problem.

Probably, and it's not fun. Good luck.

With the ability to change FP+ times on the fly, I wouldn't worry about it until/unless it actually starts to present a real problem.

We usually go around the 4th of July and have to deal with these groups. I can handle the crowded summer, its these rude kids that tend to really get me angry. It wouldn't be so bad if they had manners and were respectful. Many times they have trampled the small kids in our party and just laughed about it. We have no other choice but to go during the month of July and have to deal with these brats.

Yep, I've done around the 4th of July the past few years, it just takes a little common sense to "zag" when you see a BTG "zig"

My biggest problem was a BTG that filled up a late EPCOT to TTC monorail, so I had to wait for the next one.

Pro tip: don't wear a non-Brazilian soccer jersey

I always just got paper Fast Passes. Do these Brazilian ones come with wax?
