Brand new middle name........does it matter???

We got our cruise documents today!!!!!

As we read through them we noticed that my wife had a middle initial added to her name. I got on line to see if i could fix it, but i could not. My wife has no middle name. Her passport and DL are without a middle name. Does this added middle initial matter?? She checked her online profile and the middle initial section is blank. It hows up on the " My Resevations " page of the site, but not on the "On line Check in" page. The initial is the same letter as het first name. Has this happen to anyone else before???

I'd suggest calling DCL to straighten it out. Technically the name on the reservation is supposed to "match" the name on the ID. But, usually, middle names aren't really considered. But worth a phone call to clear it up.
