I was so upset! John Mitchell does a great routine, twirls three fire batons and then they put Boy Shaira through???? And they put the guy who does Indian dancing through??? I don't get it!

I e-mailed John Mitchell last night and his reply was that he is just happy that twirling was presented in a positive light!

Boy Shakira cracks me up because I think he's really serious! And it's great that his mom is supportive. But, I also agree that the baton twirler definitely should have been put through before boy shakira and the indian dancing guy.

Ok, I left the house b4 the variey results got done. Unbelievable that he made it through to the next round. Don't get me wrong he is entertaining, but I can do what he does and ppl would tell me to knock it off, not put me onstage to win a million bucks.

Oh well it just confirms what i thought anyway. Last year's acts were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than this year's. I'm done watching. Too bad though cause Sharon's a great addition to the show. Jerry...not so much

We were also disappointed about the baton twirler. You don't see many guys doing it, and he definitely had a very masculine and modern routine. He was more unique than a lot of the acts!

I was disgusted last night when they put those two through to the next round. There were several really good acts that were passed over for those two. I don't know why the guy with the "rabbi" under the hat didn't get to go on. He came back with something really different from his previous act. The baton guy was great - and did the guys on stilts make it through or not?

I thought there were some really good singers that got passed over too

Sorry but Boy Shakira is nothing but a cross dressing belly dancer. They shouldn't pretend that even does anything or looks remotely like Shakira.

Leonardo the Magnificant was passed on to the next round. They did not show his act last night though. I just saw him in a group that was told they were moving on.

What makes me mad about the baton twirler is ALL three judges were very impressed with how he stepped it up with a great act....yet, they did not pass him on.

I just don't understand the logic of some of their choices. I'm sure it has to do with ratings, but come on. How stupid are they (Sharon mostly) and how stupid do they think the American public is. These people had better not make it through to the final 20.

I think Cas Haley is amazing! We were totally blown away by his voice! I would really love to see him win. As for the little Indian dude??? Hmmmm..I am trying to see what they might see....I'm not getting it. And Boy Shakira? I think Sharon just likes him! Who knows!

Agh! Last night's show drove me batty! I know they must let some of the sillier acts through because some one in a PTB position sees a sort of ratings advantage in doing so (they lose me by doing it, but I'm sure they're not overly concerned w/that... ) but when they advance someone like boy Shakira, not to mention oodles of the other acts they let through last night, at the expense of someone like John Mitchell or the female vocalist (whose name unfortunately escapes me at the moment), that's when the show turns into a giant joke and frustrates me for those serious about their art and truly trying to make a career for themselves. There was only one from what I could tell that actually made it through that would've kept me watching *Cas Haley* but I think I'll just catch the highlights on Youtube. I can't take any more gimmick acts. I guess it's just not my type of show after all.

But I really don't get the Indian (and I don't even know that he is from India) guy. We have multi-cultural festivals at my school and the little kids do this kind of thing better than this guy. I just don't get it.
