Watched the show last night and to say the least my DH and I were fuming at the fact that they let the 2 freaks through. It's all a ratings thing.

Very happy though that Cas got through. I get so annoyed with the judges. They talk to people like they didn't make it through, even though they did. It just messes with their minds. Sounds very sadistic to me. These people have been through enough stress and I just can't figure out how it can give the judges pleasure to torture people in that manner.

We will keep watching, for no other reason then Cas. I really want him to win. There are a couple of other that I like but none as much as him. Of course, if some idiots try to do the same thing that they did with American Idol we may have BoyShakira winning it all.

Don't know if anyone else caught this (I don't usually read the end credits, but for some reason it caught my eye & I backed it up), but the $1 Million is paid out as an annuity over 40 years!!!! That comes out to $25,000 a year. What the heck???

I saw that also. It's actually pretty standard. They do the same things at the casino's for big jackpots. There have been other game shows that have also done this. I'm sure the money is nice for them, and they could all use it, but for most of them I think they are just wanting the exposure that this show gives them.

There was something else on the screen, after it explained about the annuity payments. I didn't catch what it said, did you read it? Something about if the contestant opted to do something else. I was thinking it was something about if they wanted to takea lump sum payment.

I really like the guy who sings like Luther Vandross. I'm not sure what his name is, though.

Boy Shakira? WTH!?! He doesn't even have good balance and almost fell to the side when he knelt down during his act on Tuesday night. Seems s/he'd be seen more readily on the Vegas strip than performing in one of the casinos.

I'm sure gimmicks like Boy Shakira and Bollywood Boy keep some people coming back....just to "see" if they will win. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind would actually see these two as talented enough to headline their own show. (Although, my husband said he might pay to see the cowboy whip up on Boy Shakira....sometimes he isn't very nice! )

I'm thinking that some record exec has already heard of Cas Haley...surely. And I wonder if some of the others have been contacted simply due to exposure. Speaking of Cas...if you are in the Dallas area, he and his band will be performing tomorrow night at Taste of Dallas...I think they go on the main stage at 8:00. What a voice!

I just knew they would put the Bollywood boy and Shakira boy though!!! What cracks me up and the judges all say "this is a million dollar show" OK, Bollywood boy and Shakira are worth a million dollar?!?!? You have got to be kidding me!!!!

I can only hope they get voted off soon. I swear if they don't get voted off within the first two shows the voting is rigged!!!

I am mad that the Redneck tenors didn't make it. Although the one got an attitude, which was kind of a turn off, but I can somewhat understand him. I mean they are SO much better then the non-personality 'dancer' and Sharika!

I will keep watching it because I am really rooting for Cas! I also want to see more of The martial arts guys
I think the guys on slilts are pretty neat too!

If the show passed Boy Shakira and Bollywood on for ratings, they have no clue what the viewers want!!!! The novelty of their acts wore off after the first 2 minutes.

I would MUCH rather watch an adorable 7 yo sing and play the piano on stage then watch either of those two freaks. Yet, the little 7yo was told he 'wasn't ready" for the final stage of the competition.

Give me a freakin break! If I was any of thiose acts that were eliminated, i would be flaming mad that I got passed up for Boy Shakira! And WHAT is the dance that Bollywood does? He barely moves, my 9yo DD can dance better than he can, and she has had no dance experience.

I agree with a previous poster, if these two are not gone in the first voting round, the voting is rigged.

How is the show working now? Are the top 20 going to perform and then we call in to vote? How many go home from there on each episode? How many more episodes till we find out who the winner is?

Last year I think they had big groups and then picked the winner from that. I think they are doing it different this year and I am confused.

I'd bet money that either Boy Shakira or the Bollywood guy will win the whole thing. The shows is so far gone that I think the public is going to take it all as a big joke. Check out the NBC website - the comments there are all negative about last night's show.

I totally agree..Leonid at least was entertaining. I am NOT a fan of Boy Shakira...the wig alone frightens the living daylights out of me.

Boy Shakira and Bollywood remind me of the Arab guy in American Dreamz. No talent, but the producers push him through until the end for "good TV."

I won't be watching anymore. Done with it. They put through the belly dancing guy and the guy that dances and sent other good entertainers like the Redneck Tenors home. I don't understand it. How can the judges sleep at night knowing they put through those that didn't deserve it, and sent home people who should have been in the finals?

I didn't care much for the guy who sings and plays the guitar, but did like the other guy singer, that sang "You Lift Me Up" but they sent him home.

Oh well, that's one TV show I won't be watching and wasting my time on.

I actually liked Boy Britany tonight. I thought that was hysterical.

I didn't like the Life is a Highway guy but I really liked the acapella group.
