Boy do I love my DVC!!

Well, DVC has come through again. We decided over the weekend to go on one of DCL's West Coast cruises. We decided to fly out a week before and see Southern California, since we've never been. So, of course the Concierge Collection (Hotel del Coronado) and the Disney Collection (Grand Californian) have been booked using our points. Not the best use, but we don't plan on going to WDW next year, so why not use them!!! It's costing us a ton of points because we're staying in Full Ocean View at Hotel del Coronado and Concierge - Theme Park View at Grand Californian. But, we'll be celebrating out 10 year anniversary, so a GREAT way to blow some points!! YIPPEE!!! DVC IS AWESOME!

Wow! Sounds like a great trip! Sure it's not the best use of points, but they're your points, so do what you want with them; and it sounds like this is making you happy, so go for it!
