We're on the same flight with you. I don't know what sounds worse, having to get out of bed so early to get to the airport or sitting around for four hours in the airport with 3 tired kids!! Either way, definitely not looking forward to that day!!:(

Kim

You forgot to add 9 hours flying with three tired kids. Hope they sleep on airplanes. Or will they be sitting next to me?
Karen

And the Wonder left a supply for them on Castaway Cay, so they were all able to have Mickey Bars the last day of their cruise! :thumbsup2

On our WBPC we ran out of pineapple! They stopped serving it in the buffets but did have a small supply for the bars, for those fatty-fruity-boozie drinks. (Actually, I kind of feel responsible for them running out, I think I had more than my fair share.)

I think DCL has slowly learned that most of the repositioning cruises have a much higher adult ratio and they have been tweeking each one. I'll be interested to see if they've wised up and will be offering a CHAMPAGNE tasting! I believe they did ONE, the second week of the '08 WBPC after a group of us (Champagine Girls unite!) did our own.

.

:rotfl: Tom and I helped you diminish the pineapple supply! :lmao:

So I've decided that coming out of lurkerdom is bad since it's giving me yet another way to procrastinate on a Saturday morning! (My girls have dance soon so I should be out running or showering or something that's not posting!).

This thread moves crazy fast, but I'm glad to 'know' some folks doing the 5K! I will, indeed, be careful running on the deck and figure that the dreadmill will be my backup. The most I've ever done on a cruise ship was 9 miles, but I've got a half marathon planned for two weeks after I get back to keep me from eating my body weight in Mickey bars!)

Erin

Hi! My DW and I are also planning to do the 5K at CC. My DW also has a couple of 1/2 marathons coming up in the SF Bay Area. However, I don't think she'll be running the decks (per the reasons stated here) but likely will be on the dreadmills. Love that term! :thumbsup2

Plus we don't imagine that we'll see our kids too much on this cruise (although I want to play too!) so we'll have plenty of time to work off all those calories.

DCL says to get to the airport 4 hours before flight time so that means they should be taking us maybe at 6AM. Their schedule, not mine, they made the arrangements.

This would make me happy if they plan to leave this early. I'd add transfers on again. :)

On our WBPC we ran out of pineapple! (Actually, I kind of feel responsible for them running out, I think I had more than my fair share.)

We also ate a ton of pineapple on that cruise! :) I'd prefer that they run out and use a different waffle/pancake batter -- the Mickey waffles were not a favorite.

Brooklyn, will be sure to attend the crossing ceremony. TFS! PB pie sounds YUMMY!

Erin, lol over dreadmill. I am a slacker and told friends I couldn't plan any Halfs because I'll be cruising for 2 weeks. :upsidedow

Now that sounds fun! I really hope to do that one. DH hates champagne & I overindulge, so I figure we balance each other out. lol :woohoo:

That's exactly what we did on the last two cruises. Works great if ya wanna get there early.

Yep - when we get on the ME we tell them what we are doing and the last time they let us stay on till they got to the ME area - then we got off - handed over our luggage at the luggage place for DCL and went and checked in and got on a bus and off to the port we went. It was really easy. Now this last cruise, they actually had us check in at the airport - gave us a boarding number and everything - we were in group 4 which I thought was good especially since it was like 10:00 or so when we got to the airport - this time we are planning on getting there at 8:30ish and see how that goes.
Krisann

This sounds too cool. :cool1:
Do you have to tell DCL you are leaving from airport & not WDW? We don't have vouchers in our docs, so had called to verify we still have transfers, lol, and they do have "a record of it." Not sure how that works since last cruise we had an actual voucher.
Thanks!!!

Champagne tastings do sound good. I've love to try the special one made only for Disney but don't want to pay the price and then find I don't like it. The champagne I like best is Moet & Chandon Imperial Nectar - discovered it at F&W one year.

Boy, that was the year that I was three sheets to the wind by the time I got to the American Pavillion :rotfl:. I was standing in line to get lunch, as I thought that would help, thinking "I'm tipsy in WDW - how funny is that!". I started to giggle a little but figured I better control that or else I would be escorted from the park. Later I read on the boards how that doesn't really seem to happen though. Anyway, I stopped drinking the rest of the way around the world as I didn't really want to get completely drunk.

Yes, I know how to behave in public. :lmao:

It was in a wine package I purchased on one of our cruises & we didn't drink it all on board so they gave me a choice of bottles to take with us, & of course I picked all of those! I really liked it, but can't remember the maker...knew at one time, but too much champagne has clogged my brain. :rotfl:

I don't usually get a pkg but that swayed me & it was really fun to have one served during Palo brunch. Seems like it was a bit on the dry side...because that's what I usually prefer...but now I'm not sure of that either!!

Iron Horse is the brand for the exclusive champagne, I love to het it a california grill

So I was wondering if I should bring binoculars to use on my veranda. What is the chances of seeing dolphins and whales??

There is a good chance. The coolest thing though that we would see were little boats....in the middle of the Atlantic! :scared1: They would be all excited waving to us! Fun times!

Finally, finally got our cruise documents and flight documents. I am so very ready to go on this vacation. I think I will join some of you and start putting a few things aside for the suitcases. After all, we have only three more weekends to pack after this one!

Well, I guess we will be joining you all. After being jealous about most everyone getting their dics, ours FINALLY got here.
So now I can say we will be flying out of Barcelona at 11 am to New York on American Airlines. I too hope DCL gets us to the airport in time.
Is anyone else on this flight?

We will be arriving in Orlando Fri night around 6 pm and staying in the Airport's Hyatt Regency.

Our cruise docs arrived today as well! Oh Yay!

I think our TA sprinkled us with a little extra pixie dust...did anyone else receive "gifts" with their package?:confused3
