Bouncing on Bounce Backs (Update Pg 20 post 299)

Tonight I get to go to watch my husband race his bicycle. Oh the joys.:rotfl: I use this as time to sit and read.

I know. Isn't it nice to have that option? But books are out of this world. One of our daughters books this year was $175 at Amazon which was the cheapest I found it.

For his computer class the books were $215, but it's actually 2 books and a code to turn in projects online. The code by itself was $80!

What book are you reading? Hope your husband wins and stays safe!

Kacy's books were around $400 for three classes. Her sister next year is going to be taking respiratory therapy classes so that ought to be interesting.

I am reading A FISTFUL OF CHARMS by Kim Harrison. These are books in a series and they area kick.

I want the wallet from that set. I think it would kind of like sexy lingerie for my purse.:rotfl:

Super cute purse set...a little too ruffley (is that word?!) for me! The pictures of the safari!

hey Tink,

here's my schedule for now:

10/13 arrive, etc.
10/14 MK then HOB
10/15 DTD am and lunch, then GKTW until Judy kicks us tothe curb
10/16 AK and our carriage ride
10/17 Epcot
10/18 resort day and MNSSHP
10/19 Epcot
10/20 DHS
10/21 MK until time for ME back to MCO around 3pm

we still might change up a little bit depending on a DIS friend from NJ that is coming but wanted to let you know what I had figured out so far for when you are there.

Googled the book and read an exerpt. Sounds interesting. I haven't pleasure read in ages. Last book I read was The Out of Sync Child and the book before that was The Complete Guide to Aspergers. Have you read the Kingdom Keeper series or the Peter series from Disney?

We arrive on 10/14 with plans for DHS. I have an ADR at 50's Prime Time, but not sure we will eat there. Then HoB for Rachel's night!

10/15 AK in the morning, lunch ADR at Rain Forest, camp fire and a movie at CSR

10/16 MK, lunch ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern and our carriage ride

Of course all this is subject to change, as all my plans for August went right out the window due to pool activities. I picked the best park that TP and/or EasyWDW picked as the park for the day.

If you are interested in reading these books you might want to start at the beginning of the series which is DEAD WITCH WALKING. I laughed so hard when I read the first chapter that WBG suggested that I possibly not read it at bedtime. He started reading them and he loves them. As a matter of fact he is further in the series than I am.

I used to read all the time before I started having the kids and stopped reading for joy when they were little. I would read a little but not much. Around a year ago I bought myself a Nook from Barnes and Noble. I haven't looked back. I love reading ebooks.

I am so prissy. I love the bows and ruffles. Now if it had lace, it would be a turn off for me. Though I do love eyelet!

I was at DTD last night and found a messenger bag of that pattern that I loved too. But it was $318!!!???? So that's not happening!

I have a Cha Cha from Vera Bradley that I love. It's the ruffles that sold me! I just don't like using Vera at Disney. The bags are unlined and if it rains everything inside is soaked!

I am immersed in a Beth Moore Daniel Bible study presently. I am taking it slowly because there is so much to absorb. Once I finish that I have a lighter Bible study lined up called Conversation Peace: The Power of Transformed Speech by Mary A. Kassian.

I'd like to find a good book for pleasure that reads fast and keeps my attention. A hard to put down book. Last one I read like that was Same Kind of Different as Me. It was truely inspirational! Haven't looked at homeless the same since. It's that book that prompted me to volunteer with the homeless. I mentored a woman for 18 months. From reading that book I realized it wasn't enough to help for a moment but it was a long term investment of time.

I admit to reading a lot of fluff books. It was a habit I got into to immerse myself to get rid of stress. I think it can be a real good habit.

I was just looking at the Beth Moore Daniel books on barnesandnoble.com. I think I might be buying one for myself, it interests me.

Have you ever read The Robe by Lloyd C. Douglas? It is a wonderful book.

I FINALLY had a chance to sit down and get caught up. :goodvibes

You look like you had a good summer...the road trip? Oh my that looked like sooo much fun!

On August 14th our life went spinning when my hubby was transferred and all his weekends off changed. Not wanting to use up vacation days, I had to CHANGE all our trips around.

The August bounceback trip stayed the same.

The September trip was cancelled, and became a November trip to POP.

The October trip was moved back one weekend, and changed from All Star Movies to CSR!!!!

The November trip is our date change for the Sept trip that was cancelled.

The December trip was moved back a weekend and switched from POP to POFQ!

The CM handled it all beautifully. Now just waiting for the refunds and the new charges for deposits.

Now I bet your head is really spinning :thumbsup2:rotfl2:

Mine is!!! It is great you can still take some little trips here and there though!

One of these bags has my name on it!! Think I can win the lottery before we go?!

I have seen those (and drooled over them) on line. Wayyy to spendy for me though. But... I like them way better than the Dooney and Burke ones. :goodvibes

:welcome::welcome:

Yes, we had a great summer. Even more summer fun (the Disney fun) can be found in my TR Disney done differently in my siggie, starting on page 48.

My head is still spinning too. I keep getting emails and snail mail from Disney about the cancelled trips. I look online and they don't show up. Guess it's just an automatic thing in the system?

They are way to pricey for me too. Found one at DTD the other day that had a long handle/strap. It was $318!!! Not going to happen. Even the 20% PAP discount doesn't make it affordable.

Spent much of the day yesterday trying to sort out insurance woes. There are three huge claims the insurance company is refusing to pay. :( Sent them more information and hoping and praying that the additional information is sufficient for them to approve coverage! I'd love to get this off my shoulders. I've lost too much sleep worrying about these claims.

I was suggesting to Goofy we cancel the Oct CSR trip. We could easily drive to HoB on Friday for Rachel's performance and POFQ for the carriage ride on Sunday. He said the trip is a drop in the bucket compared to the bills they are refusing and would barely make a dent, besides he got the vacation days approved to go.

At this point Anakin still doesn't know we are staying at Disney. He knows we are vacationing again, but he doesn't know when. It would be easier to cancel this CSR trip, than the other ones coming up. We still owe $308.21 for this, but only $40.19 for the Nov trip (after all the head spin changes). We don't have the countdown Mickey's on the refrig like last time, but saved each Mickey to use again.

Last night for bath time, I used the shampoo/conditioner from our last stay at POP on Anakin. He knew it was Disney. He said it most reminds him of the motel where you "make things". He would like to stay there again to "make things". I'd like to stay there again sometime too! He was referring to SSR where we stayed summer 2010.

Disney is definately a great place to escape. It's the best remedy ever! Seems I get the most peace of mind at church and the most distraction from my mind at Disney!!

:grouphug::hug: for the Insurance woes, oh how I can relate! I am SO SORRY!!!! I hope it gets resolved, but i know the worry/fear. We hope you get to keep your ressies, but so understand if you can't. It makes me so weary to constantly battle to have to get what you deserve for your children. LOVE the pics!

I know you understand! It's enough to have a chronically ill child! We don't need the other hastles to add to it!! I do hope it gets resolved. Please add that to your prayers!

On a happy note, he's gone 2 nights without ANY seizure activity! Had some myoclonic twitching through, but they tell me not to worry about that...

I am sorry about the insurance woes. I can relate to it in some ways... I was very lucky though and it came out in my favor. I will pray that yours gets resolved in your favor as well!!!

Thanks. I do have an organization helping advocate for me. That may help! I have to get Anakin registered there and sign a release to give them access to his medical information.

I agree, Disney is a great distraction!

Oh I am glad to hear that. The will know the ins and the outs that you may not know on your own.

I got a PIN for the DLR in the mail yesterday for 30% off of the resort hotels. It was all I could do to not call and take them up on that.

Awesome!!! Are you still going to the Ale House if you stay at DLR or will you do your Valentine's dinner elsewhere?
