Bouncing on Bounce Backs (Update Pg 20 post 299)

Any more plans??? Look how close we are!!! AAACCKKKK So much to do!

Actually most of my plans are now up in the air. The HoB and carriage ride are etched in stone.

For Friday, originally DHS was our choice, but now the crowd levels changed so much and both TP and Easy WDW say that's no longer the park to go to. So not sure what's happening. I have lunch resies for 50's Prime Time, but will probably change that.

Not sure what we are doing Saturday, maybe Sea World unless we do Sea World Sunday, but it would just be the Halloween stuff and leave since there's little air conditioning there. We have lunch resies for Rain Forest.

Sunday, only the carriage ride is planned. We have an ADR to try Liberty Tree Tavern for the first time ever for lunch.

Monday no plans.

How on earth do they build anything in Florida without a lot of air conditioning?

We have a Six Flags about 25 miles from us and they have very little air conditioning too. The only thing I can think is they don't bank on people thinking about being hot. Well, in theory that is good but I wish they had more shade.

Questions Tink..

I have been trying to map out some kind of strategy to resort hop to see the trees and gingerbread houses...how long do they usually stay up. I am thinking the last day I would possibly resort hop would be January 3rd (that seems to be the last time things are happening in the parks...Osborne and Castle Lightning). Think I still would see most by this late date?

Also what do you know about the Storytellers in World Showcase? Their last day is December 30th, which is the day I planned to start in Epcot. Think I will be able to see most of them between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm?

Animal Kingdom use to be the worse, but now the trees grew in and provide shade. They originally built the Lion King building and the theater where Nemo is without airconditioned. Recently they remodeled and the theaters now have airconditioning!

I don't know how long the resort decorations will be up. I can let you know when I find out.

You would need to know their scheduled times, and plan accordingly. They tell the story then pose for pics. Pics can take a while if there are alot of people and you are the end of the line. Hard to say how many you would get to see. Anakin thinks some of the stories are boring. Last year we couldn't get him to do them. He did see Santa at the American Pavilion though.

Wow that is just silly.

I really want to go for that some time.

I hope you can get there some day. Too bad you can't fly here today. We were invited with cm friends of ours to the F&W preview today. They can bring up to 6 people in with them, 3 each. Would you believe they can't find people to go and we couldn't find people to go either. Of course today is Thursday, so people are at school or work when it starts. It's 2 to 8 today and it doesn't count against their number to bring in for the year. My son even called his homeschooled friends to no avail. I just don't "get" the local take on WDW. WDW is awesome!!!

Oh my gosh!! I will never understand that. I was just reading an article yesterday that the largest amount of people that visit Disneyland are the locals. I wonder why it is so different at WDW. If I was local I would have an AP and they would know me by sight.

If i was a local, there is no way i woudl pass up an invite for food and wine festival YUM!

and congrats on the insurance call!!

Yes! I'm so glad someone in our homeschool group discovered this rate!

It couldn't hurt! It's not too far from WDW. It's where Cypress Gardens use to be in Winterhaven.

I will be on the look out there. Years ago when we went to Cypress Gardens on a field trip, I saw 3 snakes in one day. I doubt it was the same one, but who knows. It freaked me out. I don't do snakes well! We went again a year or so later and saw another snake. There and the Tampa zoo, I've seen snakes. Both parks it was just black racers, non-poisonous. Just scared me half to death.
