Bounceback question

Never done this before and the first time I have seen a flyer in the room about it was a few weeks ago. My question is, do they do the bounceback all the time? When we go in Aug and Oct can I bounceback for Jan 09? Can you pick the resort you want?

We are staying at the Poly in Aug and would like to come back with our nieces in Jan..can I do it?

I go to Disney once a year for about a 2 week stay, and this past November was the first time I saw the bounceback flyer. I'm not sure how good your odds are of there being a bounceback for January if your current flyer doesnt outline that as a current offer. They also have a handful of hotels in each class (value,mod,delx) that you get to pick from. Even if it isn't your favorite hotel, the deep discount can be well worth it. The hardest part about bounceback is having to make your mind up before you check out from your current stay.. Its like impulse shopping for the disney vacation addict. haha

This past november we booked our bounceback for september. We usually dont like to visit Disney until late in the fall, but with such a great discount how could we pass it up!? We are AP holders, but this year I dont have to "Hawk eye" for AP codes because I already got a cheap cheap rate for my hotel. (10 days at the caribbean beach for $1,200!)

No, unfortunately Bounceback offers aren't always available. They seem to come and go with no warning, so no one knows for sure when and if they will be offered.

Based on last year though, there was a Bounceback offered in Aug/Sept (offer then extended until October 12) , but instead of being a resort discount it was actually to be able to pre-book the Free Dining package for the next year's Free Dining - Mickey2000 posted this flyer about it:

Ok thanks! I did get a 40% off postcard around December with the same dates as the other bounceback options...sounds like the same thing.

I am hoping for a bounceback for January or October since I know for sure that I will be going at that time
