Yes I received my updated confirmation email a couple of hours after modifying by phone. But I did have to link my new reservation to MDE and the app. It didn't show up like it usually does. At @jennab you may have to call again if you want the email confirmation. That did happen to me once and I had to call again. Like you I too like the email confirmation. The call again worked though.

Yes, same here. Received a confirmation by email several hours after speaking with a CM by phone.

I was able to change my Dec. BB to May, 2026 by calling after I couldn’t do myself. I received an email confirmation a few minutes later and the change is showing up in my MDE. The only annoying thing is my last day to make another BB reservation was 5/27 so I was one day short…of course I realize now I should have just grabbed anything and than could have modified that

Just an update on this. Chat couldn’t help and told me I had to call. I called and they resent the email, which I received about 30min later.

I was not able to make my changes from 2025 to 2026 online but was able to have a cast member do it on the phone!

When I called yesterday to make my change from 2025 to 2026 the CM I spoke to said the code for the bounceback changed , that’s why it couldn’t be done online. Not sure if that’s true but it does make sense

That’s weird as I could view the 2026 availability, but just couldn’t finish the booking.

I'm curious...I haven't seen a single report these past few days of anyone being able to successfully modify their bookings online, I wonder if that's a change across the board (if no one can update a BB online anymore, regardless of year) or if it's specific to the 2025-to-2026 updates only.
Will be curious to see future reports if anyone is able to modify a BB online anymore.

At least we can see availability. Maybe once it’s switched to a 2026 BB, then it can be modified online? I’m sure someone will need to make another change at some point and can let us know how it goes.

I didn’t actually have specific dates in mind for next year yet. But in playing around online with a BB I made a few weeks ago, I found a Tower CL king room at CR for 3 nights in October. Like everyone else, I couldn’t move it myself. Just before I called, I remembered I had a BB reservation in September that I made last year, before online booking was allowed, so I couldn’t make changes online. I found a better AP rate for that trip so was intending to call & cancel that 1 but hadn’t gotten to it yet. Anyway, when I called, I gave the reservation number from that 2024 BB & the agent was able to move it to my new 2026 dates. Just as happened to others, this new reservation now shows the modify option. Finding a king Tower Club room with a discount is pretty hard, so I have no intention of using that change option!

She did tell me I would receive an updated email confirmation, so I was expecting one. Just thought it might have been delayed.

Am I understanding correctly, that to take advantage of a BB offer, I have to do so within 7 days of checking out? I checked out last friday, so I know I'm late trying to figure this out. And once I book something, I could potentially change it if it isn't the date I want?

Yes, you have 7 days after check out to book. So if you checked out Friday the 23rd, you have until tomorrow, the 30th to book. Many people just book anything to get the reservation confirmed. You can always move dates, resorts or room types later, pending availability. Right now, there are dates available until October 30th, 2026. See the 1st post on this thread for dates.

If you find a better offer or decide not to go, you have the usual cancellation policies. You can book a package or room only bounceback. I was told after the 7 day booking period you can’t change from 1 of those to the others, but other posters seem to have been able to make that change, so YMMV on that.

There *should* be a page in the resort info booklet with the offer. But you don’t need to receive a printed offer, email or invitation to book a bounceback. Any registered guest in a WDW resort can book it. Once you check in, sign into your MDE account & look under special offers. It will be there. Or just call CRO to book. All the dates & info are in the 1st post on page 1 of this thread.

I’m ok with calling just as long as I can modify the new reservation online and my new reservation does allow me to do that.
