It is a PAIN. I srsly check every other day during my workout. But it has been successful a lot. If you see it, try to snag or call immediately.

Lol it is a pain. I also have a "wish list" of Disney and Universal hotel stay rooms/dates/discounts that I check every day like clockwork ... worked out when a discounted Boardwalk View 1 BR villa at BWV popped up this spring about a month before our trip! I never give up hope!

Confirming what others have reported here:

1. On the BB reservation with the modify button, I was able to see availability for 2025 and 2026, but I could not make the change.

2. I called and the CM was able to change my July 2025 reservation (that I made in July 2024) to July 2026, but I could not keep my GF CL room. I booked a regular TPV room instead.

3. I played around and there is way more GF CL availability for July 2025 than for July 2026. My guess is that Disney will not put those rooms in the "discounted bucket" until much closer to the date, to see how they are selling. They obviously don't want to discount a room they can sell for full price. My guess is that with the refurbishment of the lobby, many guests have opted not to stay at GF CL for this July, so there is way more availability.

4. My reservation for July 2025 that I made in July 2024 originally did not have the modify button, but now it does. I think the modify button now comes up when you modify now and the date is not in the next few days.

I have a GF CL room booked for this July 2025 that I booked in 2024, so they can become available if the room is not "selling well" for a particular period. Note that I will likely cancel it because of the lobby refurbishment, so if you are looking for end of July 2025, keep an eye on availability in about a week. While some don't mind the refurbishments, the room is way too pricey for me to want to keep it.

We're planning to go during the January and April 2026 runDisney events.

I called today and my agent had to do a lot of finagling. I booked the original bounce back offer for Sept of 2025, called today and asked to have it moved to Sept 2026. My CM wasn't able to book for Sept at all even after removing park tickets from my package, which she said was a requirement for booking. She was able to book me for January 2026 and left copious notes for the next CM to try to book in September 2026. I'll need to change dates and add tickets back to my package when I call back!

That’s odd. What dates are you looking for in Sept? Was it Labor Day weekend where some dates are excluded? I wonder why they couldn’t change it.

I was wondering the same. I had no issues moving my July 2025 to July 2026 yesterday, but my dates were included.

That's really strange. It's one of the least busy times of the year. My guess is that there were some "magical enhancements" taking place. I would call back next week.

And nothing was available? We were able to book during that week.

What I found out last year for this years trip was that getting a longer stay at one place was hard. So they originally booked me with a split stay but at the same resort with same room type. So for example I had 4 days then 5 days booked. Later on they combined them for me, but that was originally how I had to book it to get availability. Even though yours isn’t that long, I’d try that way. Do 9/8-9/10 and 9/10-9/13 and see if they can find what you want.

Were you trying for a specific room? They are more cautious about discounting too many rooms this far in advance.

Does anyone know if Disneyland offers bounce backs? Just completed my first stay there and curious about going back. I searched and didn't find anything, called the WDW bounce back folks who said they didn't know, and didn't get anything in the room in CA. Thought it was worth a post to see if anyone here had insight. Thanks!

I don’t think they do. At least they didn’t back when we visited pre-pandemic. They only have 3 Disney-owned hotels and they represent a fraction of the number of rooms they have to fill at WDW.

When I try modifying it, it doesn't show me the price per night - it just shows the total package price. Which seems higher than I expected, but those nights are also on a weekend.

I am trying to decide if I should wait to see if a December offer comes out to add a few nights, or if this bounce back would apply for the extra nights on this reservation.

Weekends do cost more and bounceback discounts are room only discount, meaning each night is individually discounted or not. Having said that, when I look at other options with my Bounceback, it appears to only show me options that do have the discount for all days, but I have not done an exhaustive search on this, and I have not tried to include dates that are not part of the BB offer dates.

The best way to check this is to calculate the ticket cost by doing a mock ticket booking for your dates (note, this is a good idea anyway, it is shocking how much tickets have increased!), and then use Mousesavers to calculate the hotel portion and discount it based on hotel level (25% off for values, 30% off for moderates and 35% off for deluxes and DVC villas). The total should be about $25 more than the individual components.

Hello does anyone know if the bounce back offers apply to UK guests?

We have just returned from a stay at beach club and would love to book for 2026 if we could get a good deal. Does anyone know if bounce back offers include park tickets/free dining plan? Our recent stay included hotel, discounted park tickets and free dining for everyone. Not sure if this is just a UK deal and if it would be matched. Would be too good to refuse if we could get it with the bounce back deal rates
