Bounce back offer in effect right now

I'm checking in this Saturday. If I do the bounceback offer, and then if free dining is offered next year, can I add free dining to my already discounted package??

Probably not. In the past, "free dining" always required paying rack rate. You can not stack discounts. You'll need to do the math and choose the offer that's better for you. :)

Aww darn. It would of been cool to stay cheaper AND eat free haha. Well lets just hope that they even offer free dining next year ::fingers crossed::.

Also, if you do the bounceback, you have to pay the 200 dollar deposit right then and there dont you? That would be a problem too.. hmmm.

When i called for bounceback on Sunday, they only wanted 1 nights stay plus tax. Not the $200.00 which is usually required for packages, unless that is what you're booking instead of room-only.

Bumping to learn more about Bounce back offers. Do they only offer them certain times of the year? We go in Feb and I have never heard of this.

my mother is in Disney right now and there was only Apr 1-8th at CBR available now everything else is booked up for the mods for the 30% discount from 3/30 to 4/21. :sad2: :sad2:

We just got home from AKL last night.

There was not a flyer in our room, but there is a thing about it on the TV. Not on the AKL channel, but on the WDW info channel. It says something about booking your next vacation, then it says the offer is ending soon, then it gives the extension to call. On the TV there are no dates listed.

I called twice during our stay. I wanted AKL concierge. Not only could I NOT get that, I also couldn't get WL concierge or anything at all at CR. I ended up taking a plain room at Beach Club because we thought it would be fun to try it out. Availability is spotty if you want a particular room type.

I'll keep watching for Disney Visa and AP codes because Bounce Back only covers the second week of our trip.

Whoo! Just got back from my boyfriend and I's whirlwind, spur-of-the-moment, 3 day trip! (We live about 3 1/2 hours away so its often that we do this). We knew ahead of time about this bounceback offer, and we were strickenly saddened when we realized that we couldn't afford to bring any more extra money with us. It was a strict trip.

Sooo I watched the TV and saw the offer on the Disney Information Channel. I dialed the extension and told the castmember on the line about the code that I saw in my room. After finding out that Animal Kingdom Lodge, standard room is available for Sept 5-10, for a rate of 157 per night (its like a moderate for a deluxe!!), I just couldn't resist. I kindly told the castmember that we did not have any extra money with us for this trip so we couldn't make any deposit. So, being an awesome castmember, she put me on hold, then came back to tell me that she was able to hold the reservation for me for 2 weeks like a normal hotel ressie! I was stunned! And happy.

Poly was available, Grand Floridian was available, and AKL. I might change this ressie if free dining is offered anytime next year, but if its not, then I will stick with my awesome rate!

Was anyone able to book this prior to their checkout while at WDW. My family is there now and they checked at the front desk and they were told they could only book a bounceback rate on their last day. That doesn't seem right, but wanted to check.

That is incorrect. I almost booked mine on 1st & 2nd day of stay. I ended booking a few days later, but it was not on the last day. Don't ask the front desk reps about the offer; call the extension for the promotion (#8844) and speak with those representatives which are trained and versed on the bounceback promotions.

do they offer the bounceback to all or are dvc members excluded? I stayed at okw and bwv from dec 7-14 and did't get the bounceback offer? Could I have???

Yes you could've. We stayed at BWV in October and the same offer was out. Though there was nothing in the room, I did see the offer on the TV/Disney info channel. I went to the front desk and asked about it and they gave me a flyer. I called and it took a long time for them to verify I was staying at a Disney resort (I think because DVC is not in the CRO database??) Once they found us we checked a couple of dates. Only certain dates are offered. We checked on August, but the quotes were higher than the average AP rate, so passed on it.

How does the free dining work. I have read alot about it but was wondering how it would work. When does it run and how can you get it?? Is it part of a bounce back promo or do they do it a certain time of year??
Thanks

I'm jealous of all of you that were able to book the bounceback! I tried to get WL for anytime during the April dates, and there was nothing! :sad1:

If I recall correct, December 2006, on-site guests were able to book free dining as the bounceback promo.
Months later the free dining promo was opened to all, but more limited travel times.
If they offer free dining again for 2008, your best bet is just to keep your eyes on the boards and be prepared to book if it happens.

Is this really still going on? When we were there a couple months ago, they said our offer expires on Dec. 14. Is this a new offer? Can someone let me know if the current code matches mine -- it is 3 letters. Are we allowed to say it on here? Mine said CDR and I'll delete this right away if it's not allowed. My offer does state it's only valid for guests staying onsite, so I assume it's okay to post it. We'll be back there shortly to visit the inlaws and we'll stay in Disney for a few nights if the offer is still in effect. Thanks for any info!

Great deal! They had that rate the last week in August, which is what I checked for, but we booked Pop Century, and after talking on the way home, I don't think we'll be able to go anyway.

What september dates were available? My flyer only had dates through August.

Since CDR stopped booking on the 14th, there probably is just a slightly different offer available now, if there is one going on.

Ok thanks! I don't think they've updated all the flyers in the rooms because theirs still says CDR but yet the CM said that has expired. Anyway, thanks for the info!

Does anyone know if it is STILL going on or not??? If so - what is the right code to use. I'm now counting the hours instead of dayS....
