Bounce back offer in effect right now

That doesn't sound good.
We are hoping to book Aug. 10-17, but if there is no availability I might have to rethink my plans. Grrr. It's always something, isn't it?

My sister was told no availability at the Deluxes or Values for the 23rd-29th..but Moderates had some availability...we really want to stay Deluxe so were are looking at trying some other dates around that same time and she is going to call back tonight. I'll let you know if we get anything.

Good luck! We've never stayed at a moderate, just Value and Deluxe. And when we are staying for more than a couple of nights we prefer to be in a deluxe because the beds are too small otherwise.

I am coming up with alternate plans right now. We have APs, a Disney Visa, AAA, and the potential Bounce Back so hopefully we won't be paying rack rate!

My DS goes back to school Aug. 24 so we have to be home before then.

I just wanted to update everyone...my sister called back tonight and spoke with a very helpful CM. She was on the phone with him for about an hour because the bounceback codes were not working for him and he said something about changing and updating the codes today(???) So it took him a while to figure out why they weren't working, she gave him our dates of August 23-29th and he said we could have our choice of deluxe resorts for those dates, that they all had availability! We got the Poly for 267.50 per night! So it seems there are plenty of available rooms for the bounceback offer. Good Luck!

I would second the recommendation to call back if at first you don't succeed! I was at CSR yesterday and called to see if I could have the bounceback offer applied to an existing AKL Savannah View reservation for August 14-15. The first CM said "no" and that their system would not let them apply the code that way. I then asked if she could check for availability to book a new reservation for that date and I would just cancel the old one and she said there was no availability. I wanted a better explanation as to why they could not apply the code to my existing res. She transferred me somewhere, and I was on hold for a looooong time and finally gave up so I could go enjoy the pool.

Later on, I called again (from the lobby on my way to leave the resort). I called the extension on the bounceback flyer, and was then put through to "Guest Services" where a VERY helpful CM created a new ressie for me using the bounceback code for the same dates, same room type (I think it ended up being $229 for AKL Savannah View).

Why do they have to make it so hard???

Im not sure about the availability of the Villas..My sister didn't check for that because, if I'm not mistaken,the code is only for a studio. They only sleep 4. We have 5 in our group so we needed someplace that had the 2 Queens and the daybed. But it worked out for us in the end anyway.

We also just returned from POR, and booked a bounceback for 9/21 - 9/27 at the Poly for $267.50/night. I called first on Friday, 11/30 to get prices, and had to discuss with hubby (read: talk him into it ). When I called back on Sunday 12/2 to book, at first the Central Ressie CM told me the code had expired the day before (12/1). When I told her that I had made a previous inquiry, she put me through to "Guest Services," and they did honor the code and book my reservation.

So, FYI, the promotion may be ended, or the code may be changing.

We leave a week from today, but we won't get to AKL until after CRO is closed, so I will have to call Thursday morning.

Oh my, only 3 days to go!!! I hope they can hold out for 3 more days so i can book a bounceback offer (even though i'll probably not go during the times stated on the flyer, but who knows).

The CM my sister spoke to gave her no indication that the promotion was ending. He claimed the promotion was still going but the code had changed that day. I don't know why they would change the code but thats what he said. He couldn't get the old code or the new code to work and he couldn't understand why..I don't know what he did but we got what we wanted and he claimed there was alot of availability. Good luck to everyone trying to book this offer in the next few weeks!

We booked the Bounce Back rate before we left WDW last week. Our dates are March 30th - April 7th. The only deluxe available was the GF, but we really wanted to stay at the Poly.
I'm going to keep calling back to see if the Poly opens up!
EIther way- we got a GREAT rate for GF - Lagoon view and are so excited to be going back!

There was no flyer in our room at the BWV either in October, but I saw it on the Disney info channel, so went to the front desk and asked what the promotion was. I guess it's really too late to tell you that now, but hopefully others will know to do that. Always check the info channel to see what promotions and things are happening in WDW. I know it's a pain sometimes, but really worth it since we all know that bounce back promotions are being offered alot now.

Actually I had read that on here too, and I sat and watched the whole cycle one day. There was nothing on there about it either! I guess I could have called the front desk, but I just figured I'd hope for another AP rate.

I just got my flyer at AKL. We just checked in today and everything is crowded. I'm very disappointed to see this during this time of year since it's always been quiet. I guess the cat's out of the bag and everyone's taking their kids out of school early to come during the quieter time. Well guess what, everyone else has thought of that too and now it's just like summer break or christmas week; truly awful but oh well, we're here now.

The dates in bold above should read "3/30-4/12/08"; NOT 4/21/08. There are no new flyers printed with the new code, but the correct code that should be used AND DOES WORK is #CDR. That's the code you need to give them when doing the bounceback offer.

Oh, forgot to add this. This offer can be booked with dining or a non-dining package. This isn't mentioned in the flyer, but it is an option.

"CDR" was the code on my flyer on 12/2. Apparently the code changes periodically, and some of the old flyers must get left out.

Praise2Him, sorry you missed it on this trip, but definitely call the front desk next time. I was going to do that had the flyer not been in my room. It could be as simple as mousekeeping forgetting to re-stock the room literature.
