Bounce back offer in effect right now

We just returned from a stay at POR. There was a 30% room discount for bounce back stays.

The sheet didn't say how long the offer was going to be good for so If you are going in the next few weeks you may want to look ahead for your next stay.

We had to plan on the fly for our next stays...

Sounds like they are still running the same promotion we were offered while there the end of October. Here are the details:

From the flyer: (The value resorts are 20% off)

Deluxe and Moderate Resorts save 30%

For stays most nights 12/9-12/15/07; 1/6-2/2/08; 2/24-3/1/08; 3/30-4/21/08; and 8/10-9/27/08 at select Disney Deluxe Resorts in a standard room

Deluxe Villa Resorts save 40%

For stays Sunday through Thursday nights 1/6-2/2/08; or most nights 2/24-2/28/08; 3/30-4/21/08; and 8/10-9/27/08 at select Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts in a studio.

From memory, these look like the same dates. The discount was only offered on Moderates and Deluxe resorts - nothing for the values.

We book a stay in Jan as CSR for around $110/night and got WL Concierge for $260/night in August and POFQ for around $110/night also in August.

No summer dates until after August 10th. So, they may be offering it even if it is not obvious in the room.

Correct, we saw it on the TV and then went to the front desk and asked about it, and the CM gave us the flyer then. We were staying at BWV. I believe folks posted that they got the same flyer outlining the value resorts at 20% if they were staying at the value resorts. However, all levels of resorts were open to everyone. My dates just won't work either. Very little spring or summer offerings.

If everyone notices, the dates are the less traveled dates during Value season, therefore the discount. Finding discounts in spring or summer are HIGHLY unlikely as the resorts will be packed with families on summer break. There's no need for Disney to discount rooms when they can sell everything during middle of May through early August for full rack rate. Discounts during the peak season are rare, but not unheard of.

Too bad the bounceback doesn't include first 2 weeks of December next year....however i'm still contemplating taking the offer for a September visit for MNSSHP.

No, only a discount on your room. The free dining bounce back ended early October. This is the current bounce back promotion going on.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'm always watching out in case they offer the free ddp for next summer. I would be worth it for a quick trip down to book if August 2008 was offered like last year (to only resort guest).

My fingers are crossed that they keep running 30% off deluxes for awhile longer! We want to book for August.

DH has to bid for vacation time, but they announced that bids are next Thursday so we will know his vacation dates before we leave. Hopefully he can get the week of August 10, and hopefully there will be some sort of deluxe room available with a discount. I am not going to be picky about which resort.

We will be checking into AKL on Dec 13(Yeah, 40th Bday trip, adults only!) I hope tthis offer is still around. If it is, can I book 3 rooms? I need 2 for my big family and another one for cousin's family. I would need a room from Aug 8-16. I see the bounceback offer starts Aug 8. If I book the same resort from Aug 8-16, will I get the discount from 8/10-16?

If this offer is still available in 10 days cool1: ), i would like to know if it's possible to book a room for my sister? She will arrive a few days before me and she will be on the reservation. Since she's arriving early, can she check-in without me being there? Since i will be the one making the reservation, i need to know if this is possible as i plan on making this arrangement upon arrival. Any help appreciated.

I just posted this on the August code threat also, but my sister is at Disney now and just tried to book the bounceback offer for August 23-29th and was told there is no availability at any Deluxe Resort for those dates.

That doesn't sound good.
We are hoping to book Aug. 10-17, but if there is no availability I might have to rethink my plans. Grrr. It's always something, isn't it?
