I stayed at a wdw resort last October and I was able to book the bounce back for this summer. I just want to know if anyone remembers how early the bounce back was offered last year. I will be at a wdw resort until september 6th this year and I would love to book a bounce back for 2010. Did the bounce back offer begin this early last year?

when we were there last year (Labor Day week 2008 - was like 8/30-9/6 that we were there) the bounceback offer in the rooms was for Free Dining for the following year (2009). As far as I recall, the free dining bounceback offer was in the rooms from the first day of Free dining last year. We booked Free Dining bounceback then.

I'm hoping they do the Free dining bounceback again!

Thank you, I hope they do the same again this year. I know that they usually open the offer up to the public in the spring but I like to be able to know with confidence that I can book my flights early if I see a great deal.

I suggest you watch these Disboards around 8/16...that's when the first U.S. free diners starts their vacations. Someone will post what the bounceback offer is. That's what happened last year -- I think someone even posted a picture of the bounceback card that was in the hotel rooms. I do remember that we knew what the offer was before we got there. Just hope they do it the same way, as you say it's good to know you're covered in the event they don't make the same offer the following Spring.

Just keep in mind that last year's bounceback is more expensive than the current free dining offer if you're staying during the value to moderate season change (early Oct). We switched our bounceback to the current free dining offer and saved $50.

Having to stumble on the cheaper current free dining price and the change to 90 day adr's means we won't be spending any time considering a bounceback for next year. We'll take our chances and keep our $200 deposit.

I know what you mean. The bounceback offer should be better that the general public Free Dining offer. They had our deposit for months!
