Has anyone ever taken a case or two of bottled water and packed it in their checked bags????? When we get to WDW we are not planning on leaving to go outside the park and I understand the price of bottled water is expensive in the theme parks:worship:. I also see there are online Grocers that will deliver to the resorts for a little fee... Has any one used this service and if so was it worth it???

You can, but please know that luggage is handled very roughly and there is a chance the bottles will burst. If you insist on bringing them, make sure you double (or, better yet, triple bag) them. It would be awful if they burst and ruined someone else's things.

Garden grocer is reliable. You can also order water from costco, which is cheaper if you only want water. You can also get cups of water for free in the park.

Water will add lots of weight to your luggage and you may incur overweight fees.

Unless your airline doesn't charge for checked bags, putting a "case or two" of bottled water in your luggage is penny wise and pound foolish!

If you're staying onsite - walk over to a Hess station to buy bottled water.

We've packed water in our luggage many times. I put the bottles in zip lock bags and distribute them throughout the clothes. We've never had a problem.

Like others said, just watch the weight of your suitcase...the good thing, you're luggage will weigh less coming home, so you can buy more souvenirs.;)

I drink a lot of water. Bottled water is expensive in the parks and I really don't like the taste of Florida water. However I've found that adding a lemon to the water does help the taste somewhat.

I drink water from the drinking fountains and hotel sinks, and FL water tastes just fine to me.

The water from CS locations and some of the water fountains is filtered, so it tastes fine.

We order water from Costco.com (You do not need to be a member) and have it sent to our resort. (Include your name, arrival date and reservation number) Shipping is free. It's slightly more than what you'd get a case of water for at Target but way cheaper than Disney water. Just be sure to keep an eye on it to make sure your order goes through. We've done this twice with no issues.
