Boston experts, I need some hotel info please

Thanks Alex! I just did the same thing and got the same rate, including harborview for $295! They require full payment at time of reservation, that's the only drawback at this point. But that is a great discount off their regular price!

Thanks for all of the replies, I have been doing more research on Boston hotels.

I just called the Seaport Hotel and the woman there told me that the Spirit of Boston is across the street from that hotel. Is that correct? Mackey mentioned that its a 5 minute cab right from there... now I'm confused. LOL

I'm still trying to find out which hotel is the closest to where the Spirit of Boston docks.

Can anyone tell me for sure which hotel is the closest to the Spirit of Boston?? Thanks

I *think* the Seaport is across from the Spirit. On the same street as the Fleet Boston Pavillion (fmrly Harborlights).

I also *think* the Odyssey is the one by Rowe's Wharf.

The Seaport is very nice, and there are quite a few restaurants right in the area. Jimmy's, The No Name, Anthony's, The Barking Crab, etc.

Do you have a AAA book? Sometimes they have great maps of the area with the hotels marked. Lots of other good info too. I always go get the AAA books, even though we book our own stuff!

According to my dh, the Boston expert in our family, Spirit of Boston docks right behind Boston Harbor Hotel. He has actually done several of Spirits cruises.

Every year I tell myself to take fewer Disney vacations and go to Boston but every year I take too many Disney vacations and can't afford to go!

I'm seriously considering canceling the weekend coming up and not planning any more Disney vacations until the summer.
Maybe we'll go to Boston for Memorial Day weekend!

The ODYSSEY dinner cruise is near the Boston Harbor Hotel...

The SPIRIT OF BOSTON dinner cruise is near the Seaport Hotel!

I found a great rate of $149./night on Seaport's own website, so I booked that for 2 nights, and we'll stay till Sunday instead of Saturday. At that rate I couldn't resist adding the second day
