Campinggal, I just realized you're going to the show in less than 4 hours!!!!
Have an absolute blast and tell us about it first thing in the morning!
THE CIRCLE OF LIIIIIIFE!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh, can't wait to hear that song.
I think I'll cry.
Um...cry??? I had goosebumps all over and tears running down my face during the opening number. I was so blown away I could left after the first song and felt I got my money's worth!!!!!
Absolutely amazing doesn't even come close- the show was awesome!!
They did a great job on the Opera House- beautiful. Only downside that I could see were the bathrooms. Try not to go at all costs (well, maybe not all costs

). They are way down stairs. I took DD just after the show ended (during the last curtain call) so no line but what a haul! Also the entrance is only about 20 feet wide so you get this feeling of going down some very ornate alley packed with people when arriving and even more so when leaving.
The seating felt very intimate- so I doubt there is a bad seat in the house. We were in Row T, center orchestra. The incline of the seats from row A to T was such that by roughly rows P,Q,R,S,T, your seats were dead even with the height of the stage. The first few front rows seemed below the height of the stage so one sitting there might have to actually look up. We had seat numbers 105-108 and I swear, my 108 seemed exact dead center. They are slightly staggered but only just so. If you have a small child, they have booster seats available.
Definately plan to get their early. Best to do your merchandise purchasing before the show- the 15 minute intermission is way too short. There are signs posted that if you are not in your seat when they dim the lights for the opening number and the number after intermission, there is a 10 minuite hold on being seated. You don't want to miss any of this!!!
Parking seemed plentiful- there is an 'open' lot right across the street (on Washington St.) where they pack the cars in (this did get full about 30 minutes before the show) but there is also a public parking garage attached to the Hyatt Hotel that is on the street perpendicular to Washington- the street is right across from the Opera House.
I am so in awe of those with creative talents- the costumes were phenomenal.
So, in short- it was wonderful!
I'll post merchandise offerings in another thread.
I'm so excited for all who are still yet to see it!!
