I love this sektch, and the Casey Affleck one at the Dunkin' - I have family in Rhode Island, aka Boston Jr., and it is pretty spot-on!
Nope, we still have half moons around!Bostonians, are black and white cookies sold in the Boston area or are they a banned NY thing?
Excellent choice! Used to work around the corner from there, now on Beacon Hill. Open 24 hours! From Bova’s, in the North End (my personal favorite)

I've never had one. What does it taste like?I love B and W cookies.![]()
Two different kinds, dry or moist. Think of a cake cookie with chocolate and vanilla frosting. Some are softer (moist) or a little firmer (dry). It depends on the bakery or family recipe. My family has their own secret recipe that was passed down from my great grandfather (but I don't know it, my father does though).I've never had one. What does it taste like?
What was the white part?Where I lived as a kid (in western NY) the cookie part was chocolate!
What was the white part?
Thanks for the response. As I said before, everyone has a different recipe all over NY. If you lived in western NY, do you consider yourself an honorary NYer?Half the frosting, just like in the video above. The tops looked the same, only the base was different.
I'm not sure if it was standard for the whole area or a quirk of our local bakery, but they were delicious!

What is that? I know New England, and rhode island. I think there might be a CT one too but I’m not sure.Bostonians, do you enjoy Manhattan clam chowder?
I don’t know, but the revolution essentially started here so I assume every house is haunted. My own house was on the Underground Railroad (tunnels and all) so I assume this place has ghosts. I do not enter my basement at night.Bostonians, NYS has many haunted hotels. What are some well known haunted hotels in the Boston area?

Ummm ok. That does not look appetising. Is it good?
