Boston Area DiSers

So I can experience the Boston Tea Party first hand? Cool! LOL. 😆
Well the tea party happened in the harbour, But you get the general idea.

I actually get out to NYC quite a bit, maybe once a month or so, often for shopping or shows, or just to eat at my favourite French bistro, Lafayette (in NoHo, I think). I also get into upstate when I drive back to Michigan or go visit friends at some of the Universities up there.

Grew up in Peabody, lived there until I was 22, then lived in Salem for 4 years. I worked in Kenmore Square one year, in the building with the Citgo sign on it! I'm in Maine now, but will always consider the Boston area my home- I love that dirty watah!

You come to our town in that getup and you're headed for the Charles River, the hard way!

J/K, if you ever come out this way @Buzz Rules I'll buy ya a beer. We have REALLY good beer. Just curiously, are you in NYC?
That’s beah!

Of course, you always need one of these in winter, also.

It could be 20 below but my students will always drink iced. I just don't get it. When I was first interviewing for the job, the students happily told me that they just opened a Dunkin' in my academic building. When I inquired about Tim Hortons, they gave me a look like I was from Mars.

Anyone else have a Green Monster Seats tribute section in their family room?

Love the score! LOL

My first visit to Fenway was when my father took my brother and me to see #9, the “splendid splinter” play in 1960, the final year before he retired…. I remember Yaz as a rookie the next year! Could sit in the grandstand for $.75 or the bleachers for a buck.

Yeah, I’m old LOL

Bostonians, are black and white cookies sold in the Boston area or are they a banned NY thing?

Good eye on noticing that #9 was at bat. I’m guessing that I was there in 1960 and yeah I’m old too but I’m not laughing out loud about it,
