Borrowing Question

Ok, I have an August Use year and had to borrow from 2010 for a trip August 2009. I have been thinking that it may be better for us to go in June. Are the points that I borrowed from 2010 good anytime in 2009 now, or can I only use them after August 1st? I hope that makes sense.

They are in your 2009 use year, which would be for stays 8/1/09 to 7/31/10.
