Borrowing Points Question

Forgive my ignorance here, I've just never quite understood this. I'm in the middle of calling day by day for our spring break trip for 2006. I'm using 2005 banked points, 2006 points and will borrow some from 2007 (taking family). Can I book that last night even though I will have to borrow from 2007? Thanks for any help!

You can borrow from 2007 as long as your dates of stay are in your 2006 use year. Everything is controlled by which use year your dates of stay are in. It has nothing to do with when you can make the reservation.

Sinple example: you have a Feb use year and want to take a trip in April 2006. You can call to make the ressie in May 2005 (for home resort); at that time to reserve the trip: you can use points issued Feb 1, 2005 for the trip as long as you bank them since the trip is in the 2006 use year; you can use points to be issued Feb. 1, 2006 because they will be in the "current" use year for the time of the trip; you can borrow points to be issued Feb 1, 2007, because your trip is in the immediate use year before 2007.
