So that was our little September trip! We went to a Hockey Preseason game at the Honda Center that night to see the Ducks Vs. The Sharks. But that's not very exciting for most of you, I am sure.​

I've been watching the female hockey team on the winter Olympics and our woman are kicking some serious butt!!! They are ahead 9-0 in the third period.

I love the hat your mom had on. That birthday hat is great, I would love to have that hat. And the lines or lack there of at DCA is amazing. When we went in March 2007 it wasn't terribly busy, it was just a casual sort of busy. Thanks for that on the veggie burgers, my 15 year old Kody loves veggie burgers and we usually get Morning Star. I have looked at the ones at Costco and thought of buying them but I wasn't sure because I didn't know how good they were. Now I think I may buy them.

So it seems that the men's hockey is going to be played on MSNB and not NBC. Apparently they have done a study that shows that the majority of Olympics viewers are women, and they are assuming that most women won't want to watch Hockey.

In the US, yeah, that is true. Sad, though. But at least they'll be airing it period. I don't know anyone who would rather watch hockey over figure skating, skiing, speed skating, etc.

Soooo if I didn't mention this before... I'm going back to Disneyland for my birthday in less than 3 weeks!!! My birthday is Saturday March 6th and I work Saturdays, so we are driving down that night after I get off work. We will be in the parks Sunday March 7th and Monday March 8th, then driving back on Tuesday the 9th(I'm taking that day off as oppposed to my actual birthday because it's a much slower work day). I already reserved Desert Inn and Suites(our go-to hotel) for $59 a night about 6 months ago(hahah whoops).

If you didn't already know this, there are promotional tickets for sale right now on Disneyland.com(and we found them at Safeway grocery stores) that are at a discounted price. Even though we are only going to be in the parks for 2 days, I had my mom buy a 3-day promotional park hopper bonus ticket because right now it is actually $3 cheaper than a 2-day park hopper. So because I have an AP we might ride 1 or 2 more rides on the morning we leave, since she will be able to get into the park!! I also told her that she would get a MM(not meee since I have an AP and we aren't staying onsite) and she could get in earlier if she wanted, but she didn't want to go in without me(sweet).

I would like to buy it for myself then next year when the ladies trip comes around I don't have to worry about the ticket and I am more apt to get to go. As an AP owner are the discounts at the restaurants very good?

That's my thought. The only reason I hesitate is because one of the days we a re going is a Saturday and I am sure it will be blackout.

Even if your last day is Saturday, you can upgrade your park hopper to an AP on that Saturday and still get in regardless if it is blacked out or not. Then you'll just pay the difference and have an AP for next time.

Well, weren't you going to do a GAD?? COuldn't you use that ticket on the Sat. that you'd be blocked out with an AP?
