Booking via Costco

Costco would be your TA, if you book through them. They would have to release the booking for you to transfer it to another TA.

You have me confused. Why do you want to book through Costco anyway if you already have a TA?

I don't really, except I don't get any monetary incentive from my ta...no onboard booking, etc. She's just really great and I feel loyal to that. If I could get a Costco card, the transfer to her and it would be the same for her, I'd do that.

Do you get to keep the Costco card if you transfer your reservation? I thought you didn't get that until you return from the cruise.

It doesn't work that way. You get the card after your cruise, if you transfer the booking to another agent you don't get the card.

If you book through Costco, you would have to get them to release the reservation to another agent. They would not give you any incentives if you transfer. You need to read the fine print. Any OBCs, gift cards, etc., will not be received until much closer to the reservation, most likely after the final payment/cancellation period.
