Booking through AAA -- What if new discounts come out?

As of right now, there are no discounts being offered during the time I'm planning to visit WDW. AAA is quoting me $50 a night cheaper than Disney, even when I called Disney and asked for the AAA rate (I'm doing room-only). I'd much rather book straight through Disney but it isn't worth it for an extra $200.

What is Disney comes out with special offers for my dates after I book through AAA? Will I be able to switch to the new rate through AAA? My biggest fear is that I'll book now and it'll become cheaper and I won't be able to change my reservation

Yes you can add the special offer, pin, or code to your AAA reservation. Your AAA TA will have to do it. Last year my TA switched me from the AAA discount to a pin code room discount to a free dining discount.

We had the same experience as pp2 - originally booked with AAA discount, then subsequently rebooked twice as better deals came out.

One the agent saw for us and notified us on, so that's a benefit of going through AAA is the agent is also watching for codes for their clients in addition to you looking for them on your own or hoping to get a private pin.

I just got back from my local AAA office to have them add a new discount to our reservation - so yes, as discounts become available (or pin codes), your TA can have it added to your reservation.

So I can confirm that this is true as of today.
