. It is worth noting that even 'reserved' seats can be changed. Ours were on our outbound flight in October, even though I pre booked them 11 months out. We were still together. It is very rare that they split a family up and will rather resort to rearranging 'singles' than to divide a family. Usually the worst you get is sitting across the aisle or behind each other if there are too many of you to fit in one row.
