Is there any way to check individual restaurants or parks, or is the only way to choose park size, date, and time and check all of WDW?

I will be checking VERY frequently over the next 2 months to *try* to tweak our sept 29-Oct 3rd ADRs so the app is more convenient, but it’s so annoying to not be able to narrow it to a park or just check restaurant by restaurant.

Am I missing something obvious? I hit the + in the bottom middle, then choose party size and date and it searches all of Disney. I don’t see a way to limit the search?

After you select breakfast lunch or dinner, a filter button pops up in bottom right corner. At least on the iPhone it does.

Use the location button, select dining, find the restaurant you want and there is an option to reserve dining

Instead of hitting the + button, to the left of that is the location button. Click on that, then select dining from the menu on the top middle. From there you can filter by park/location and get to specific restaurants.

You can also use the search in the app to find the specific restaurant. On the restaurant's page, you can click Reserve Dining.

If you're monitoring for different ADR times, you may also consider using a free ADR finder on a third-party site like Touring Plans or Mouse Dining.

Great, thanks, I didn’t know that at all! It’s kind of a clunky way to get to the restaurant, but at least it get me there instead of having to search literally all of WDW and scan through looking for ones on the park you’re interested in. Although I will say for Oct 1 there aren’t many to scan through lol! Sometimes I get nothing at all, or just a couple of reservations available for all of WDW! It also changes drastically, for example 12:00 will show nothing, then 12:30 shows multiple locations that should have also showed for 12:00 🤷‍♀️

Is there a way to search all of one specific park together? Like all of the MK restaurants? I know you can do on the website.

Thanks, for some reason search never occurred to me 🤦‍♀️!

I have so many searches set up it isn’t funny! It’s just you have to be so quick, I’ve already missed one for sept 30th at DHS, so in addition to the searches I though I would just check myself when I had a few minutes. If anything ever pops up I’ll probably be so surprised I won’t t click on it and will just hit another time and lose it haha!

Yes, follow my steps and then filter by park

Hmmm, I’m not seeing a way to search them all at once. However, when I limited it to just ones that accept reservations and did it in list form that alone helped a lot. I hadn’t scrolled down for some reason, I guess the only reasonI’ve ever filtered by park before was for wait times so I didn’t realize the dining options were there.

I’ll bet there’s a lot more I could be doing with the app if I just knew how. My brother joined us for a recent trip, he likes Disney but not to the extent that I do, he comes maybe every year or 2. He commented that the app is not very intuitive or iser friendly- and I agree.

Click location icon on the bottom, change the top menu to Dining, then click filters on top left. That brings you to the second screen where you can choose park, etc.

That’s what I did (with your help) 😊. But I cannot for the life of me see how to search all Magic Kingdom restaurants that take ADRs at the same time. I do what you show, then I can get a list of all restaurants that accept reservations, and then go down the list one at a time, but don’t see the option to do, say, a search for any restaurant with a lunch opening, or any restaurant with an opening at 2:30. I just have to go one at a time. Is that what you’re saying I should be able to do?

This is the list when I filter to just the MK, it I don’t see how to search them all at once. Oh well.

Yeah, Disney doesn’t make it easy to do what you want. In the app, I go to Check Dining Availability, then have to enter party size, select a date and time, let it pull up all availability, THEN I can click on the funnel in the lower right corner and click Magic Kingdom and then Done in upper right in order to see MK availability. It’s a pain! After that I can change the time, but if I want to change the date, I have to start over. It’s easier on the MDE website because I can set the location at the start and change dates without losing the location filter.

Ah now I see what you’re trying to do. Here’s how…
1. Choose the + sign
2. Click check dining availability

3. choose your party size, date, time. You will get a list of ALL restaurants with availability. Then on the bottom right click the filter button. From there you can choose a specific park. Hope that helps!

Thank you both so much! Now I see how to do it. I don’t think I would have ever figured that out on my own, or isn’t intuitive (at least to me)! I’ve never even noticed that little funnel in the corner before.
There’s still nothing available haha, but now I can find out much faster!

It took me a long time to figure it out! I don’t know why MDE app doesn’t let you filter by location at the start, like the website does, instead of making you filter at the end. Disney IT!
