I have a group of 9 that I'll be looking to reserve CRT for this Saturday when my 180-day window opens.
Question - 6 of the 9 will likely not be on the DDP, while the remaining 3 likely will. What has been your experience with pre-paying for CRT when your group is mixed like ours?
I called Disney Dining, and was told by the CM I spoke with that I would either have to make 2 separate reservations for those paying cash vs. the Dining Plan, or I could make one reservation for the entire group saying that all members are on the DDP, but then just tell the podium when we're checking in that only a few members of our party are actually on the plan.
Is this accurate/what you'd recommend? I haven't called back to see if I get a differen answer from another Dining CM.
(For what it matters, we are DVC members staying on points, so we have the ability to add DDP later. No one has yet to officially add the DDP to any of our reservations.)
Thanks for any advice! I haven't been to CRT since the advent of having to pre-pay for the meal, so this is new to me.
