hey been back from our last trip for 3 days now and what better way of beating the disney blues then by booking ourselfs a new disney trip but i need your help as i have never booked it DIY style before

we are looking for the best price on a holiday like this

3 weeks
start of oct 2014
staying at disneys CSR
disney tickets
universal tickets
sea world tickets
bush garden tickets
car rentel
flights
2 adults

not fussed about park tickets for the whole 3 weeks as we plan on using the
3rd week to just relax and chill in the hotel.

thomson have priced me at 6 grand but thats with first class flights

Just had a look at Travel City and they've come up with £5032 which includes flights, hotel, tickets, dining plan and car with insurance and GPS.

We had a corking deal in November 2011 for October 2012 through Disney themselves. We had half price accomodation with free dining thrown in at OKW, might be worth hanging on a bit in case they do any similar deals, or working out if it is worth renting points from a DVC member to stay at one of the other properties. For flights I usualy use Kayak, but be aware that the prices can change almost on a daily basis. Wen we were booking for California this year I noticed that the prices went up at weekends and down midweek! Car hire, I use Alamo, never had a problem with them, great service, take your own satnav as they will charge you almost as much to rent one for two weeks as it will cost to buy one new! If you have a tablet there are some good satnav apps out there. you can get combined tickets for Seaworld/Bush/Universal, last we went I worked out the days we were going to be in each park and it was cheaper for us to buy the one week tickets separately, but you might want the flexibility. Enjoy.:beach:

thanks guys

i have looked on that travel city and that site seems really good i have never heard of them before though would i still be covered if it went under?

also is there much difference bewteen virgin and thomson planes? and is virgin premiun worth it

Just to be clear, Thomson operate charter flights so 'first class' is essentially a premium economy service, NOT true first (or business) class.

And secondly, in my opinion £6K seems very expensive for just 2 adults for that time of year. Beginning of October is not premium travel time so shouldn't be that expensive. Have you tried pricing things up individually?

yeah i just done it got it down to £4,500 which i am bit shocked at so looks like i might be booking it soon lol

to save money i have decided not to do discovery cove and only get tickets for the first 2 weeks

Travel City are owned by Virgin so I'd imagine they're pretty safe to book with.

Complete orlando are fab too, booked woth them two years running now and will book for next year

Oh, btw, check when Columbus weekend is and try and avoid it, it can be very busy over the few days around it.

if i am staying at disney do i get my park tickets included so if i go for 21 nights will i get 21 day tickets

No you still have to pay for them! If you book a package that includes (free) dining you have to buy your tickets with Disney though. The cost difference between 14 and 21 days is not worth not getting the 21 day tickets IMHO.

And if you can get PE on Virgin upgraded for 200 or less PP, each way, then I would personally say it's worth it, but only if the base flight price is cheap!

I've actually noticed that October is pretty expensive now! September is much cheaper if you can swing it :)

looking to be about £1100 for both of us both ways at the min for PE
