hi if I have an existing reservation would they transfer my deposit amount if I were able to book a Bounceback or would I need to put a new deposit down? Just trying to figure out if it’s worth it to book something now in the event a Bounceback is even available when I go.
TIA

It depends. If you have a package & book a bounceback package, they can probably modify your existing g reservation & apply your deposit. But if you go from room only to package or vice verse, they might need to make a new reservation. Room only & packages have different deposit requirements, so you would need to meet the new deposit requirements too, no matter if they rebook or just modify.

Also, having a reservation already will not help you get a bounceback rate. If there is availability at the resort & room type for the dates you want when you call, you can get the rate. If there is no availability, having a reservation already booked won’t get you the discount.

If you want to make a future reservation so you have the resort & room type for the dates you want, book whenever you’re ready. If you can only go if you get a bounceback rate, might as well wait til you get there & see what’s available at the time.

Thanks ! I understand the whole booking difference between R/O vs package … and I understand that it is dependent on what is offered/ available. What I’m unsure of is say I book a R/O at BC. And put deposit now. When I go in March if there is a Bounceback for R/O and BC is availability will I just be able to transfer deposit and booking? Or do I need to put another deposit down?

They will modify your current reservation & your deposit will stand as is. If you upgraded the resort or room & the deposit is more, you would have to add the difference. But otherwise the already paid deposit is still valid.

Thank you so much that’s what I was wondering
