Booking a AAA rate with Disney

We are planning to join AAA for our next trip. If you want the AAA discount on the room...#1, do you have to book the trip through AAA to get the rate or can you book directly through disney, and #2, Must you book the room and tickets separately or will they give you the % off the room if you book the MYW package? I am confused about this.

You can book "room only" with Disney and still get the AAA discount. If you want both the AAA room discount and the package you must book a package through AAA. I hope that makes sense!!!
