Booked Disney Visa deal without insert!

I don't want to cause anyone any stress.....I'm just posting the info I just received trying to keep anyone from getting possibly hurt by changing ressies and then not getting what they thought they were.

I called Bank One and the woman said no deal....I could not get the new Visa package...even though I'm a new card member (just got it in December). She said that it was only for new cardmembers and December is not new. It's only for people who do not have a card now. She was even rude; I asked to speak to someone else and she said no, she was a supervisor.

I contacted my travel agent and explained people here were getting the deal even though they weren't new applicants. She said, "This is what Disney is telling us. After it's booked it gets sent somewhere to verify the info against the database, to make sure they are eligible, and if they aren't that it will get bounced back as disqualified, and they will not be allowed to keep that rate. Keep your fingers crossed that after a week or so they will not be happy with all the negative feed back on the limited people that get to have it and they open it up to everyone."

If you got the deal, congratulations!!! but you probably need to check in a few days and make sure you still have it.

If you didn't get it, make sure they know you're upset and maybe they'll open it to everyone. They've done that before when they changed PS times for certain people to 90 days and left regular public at 60 this past summer. It was 90 for everyone if I remember correctly in about a week.

Just the info I got....Your info may be diff and if so, please post it.

Special package deal apparantly for new Disney VISA card applicants that is very similar to the Fairytale package....without the artwork....instead $100 at check in.

I just tried to get a new Disney Visa for my DH and used the link from the disney site to get a phone number. When I called there was a recording that said they are no longer accepting applications on this phone number. Go figure.

Just tried that code and they still say it is for new members only. Can't catch a break!

THE CM AT DISNEY GAVE ME THE CODE ON SAT. AND TOLD ME TO CALL BACK ON SUN. WITH THE CODE I DID AND THE CM BOOKED IT WITH NO PROBLEM.

Be careful Diane,

My travel agent says Disney has told them that they are going to doublecheck all ressies trying to get the new VISA deal against the database from bank one that lists the eligible people and if you're not on the eligibility list....you're ressie reverts to rack room rates.

I'd doublecheck in a few days and make sure you still have it.

I also tried the code and had no luck. They verified my card with Bank One and said that I had my card too long to be eligible. Seems like I also cannot catch a break!

You know how things are wt WDW and Bank One...I'd wait a couple of days and give them time to have completed the cross check.

Please do not post codes NOT meant for everyone. Disney and Bank One have made it clear that this new promotion is strictly for new cardholders and not for everyone. It appears there may be problems in the near future for those booking with the code that aren't eligible. Until there is published proof that this promotion can be used by everyone, the posting of this code on these boards is not permitted.

If only a certain number of rooms are available with this code, all the people making reservations that are not new Disney Visa members are taking those rooms. If they change your reservation back to rack rate, the discounted rooms do not go back into the pool.

My point is, if you are not a new Disney Visa card member, wait to see if the promotion becomes available to us before you book your room with a code you should not be using. You are lowering everyones chance of getting this deal.

I just call Bankone And Disney I called Bankone to apply for a new card They directed me to the Big Bankone number after several min's The lady came back and said due to problems with this offer It is no longer there. I told her I would not be needing the card them. She ask why? I told her that 10.9 % was really high in todays market and the offers so far for disney really stink. She said she would make a note on the customers complaint page about this. I feel they are so big and alot of people fell for the opening of the Disney card they really could careless right now if people are happy or not.
