Booked Disney Visa deal without insert!

You could maybe book something and convert it later. It looks like someone was able to do that using this offer.

Did they mention anything about a disney visa when booking or changing your res? I just booked with a regular visa and nothing was mentioned about it, but i am just making sure if one needs to be presented at checkin and they just assumed I was using a disney visa. I guess I will call and confirm my res tomorrow.

Oh I am so torn... I got my card in November so I may be able to get this deal (looking at the info on this thread).

Right now I am booked at PC for 7 nights on the kids stay and play free deal. I think this buy 4 get 3 free deal will save us about $100... or... I could move us up to POR. I have really talked myself into the PC because we could stay longer... now that POR is in reach for the same length of stay I am very torn. Save money or spend a bit more and move up.
If we stayed at the POR I would get the trundle bed and put a bit of space between my son and my daughter (which is what we have done in the past)... another perk of POR...
We have never stayed at a value and I am a bit concerned that we will be let down by it. Our last stay was at POR and we really loved it there.

I wish I could figure out the prices so I was sure of what I was looking at. Do you think I could just do a book your stay at the website to get the prices? I know you get the price first and can bail out...

What are the dates for the Visa Fairy Tale Package and does anyone have a price for any of the monorail resorts?

I just called to see what the status of my Disney Visa was (I applied online last week) and they told me I was approved and gave me the price of my credit. I then asked if I could get my credit card number so I can book the Visa Dream Maker Pkg. and the guy at Bank One said he couldn't give me that info over the phone but he'd put a rush on my cards so I get them this week instead of 7 - 10 working days.

I was really going to try to call WDTC and tell them I was approved but didn't have my number yet to see if they would have me in their system so I can book, but I haven't tried it yet. Figured it wasn't going to help much without my credit card number.:(

Sweetheart7526-
When I first asked for the Visa DreamMaker pkg. I was asked for my name and zipcode. Once the CM started processing my reservation she did verify that it was a Disney Visa

For those that were able to get reservations. Were packages available for the Grand Floridian or only the moderate resorts?

Mickeys Friend:

The dates for reserving the package are 2/15 thru 4/30; the stay has to be between 5/1 and 10/31/04. Check throughout this thread for various deals. I was able to reserve LVC at the Poly with this package, but it seems to be highly selective/subjective as to who is able to reserve the deal at this time.

Hope this helps and good luck..............

Can you book for just two people or does it have to four? It seems that I saw the deal was for 4 people to a room. I would love to do this but only need it for two.

I'm going to apply for the card and see what happens.

I was quoted Poly GV Concierge for $3064.47 and BC GV Concierge was $3220.57.

I went to Disney.com yesterday and ran a quote on Poly for July for 4 nights and it came up with concierge for $2923.55 for the package. It seems to me like they are charging more than the 4 night price. This was for 2 adults and 1 child.

Was your quote for more than 1 child?

Maybe this has been answered already, but if right now, I apply online for the Disney Visa and get approved, when I get it, can I automatically get the Visa package, just because I am a "new" cardholder? I thought you had to have "the code" or have received a flyer.

I've been told 2 different things - that I need the code from the insert in my new Disney Visa application (which DH threw away very unfortunately), and that I can switch my ressie to the package deal once I get my new Visa. Sorry, that doesn't really answer your question, other than to say, it depends on which CM you get. Let's hope I get the latter CM when I try to convert once I get the Visa; this deal will save me about $1000!!

I just wanted to clarify that I received a Disney Visa application in the mail, with the insert advertising the 7 for 4 deal. Nowhere on that insert is there a code. In order to get the discount, you must be a NEW Disney Visa card holder. Once you apply and are approved, BANK ONE gives you the code to use when you book through WDTC.

I just wanted to clear that up, because it seems that there is some confusion that there is a code that came in the Disney Visa application when there wasn't.

I still think it is really crummy that they aren't extending the offer to "charter members", however, maybe their "reasoning" is that they just offered the Kids play/stay free package?

Just my 2 cents!

I recieved an application in the mail yesterday for the Disney Visa but no where in the application or other papers does it say anything about the FTP. Is is only for a select group or should I just apply and see what happens???

I went to Disney.com yesterday and ran a quote on Poly for July for 4 nights and it came up with concierge for $2923.55 for the package. It seems to me like they are charging more than the 4 night price. This was for 2 adults and 1 child.

My quote was for later in July for 2 adults, 2 juniors, and 1 child.

MarcyinPA, what if you got an application with NO insert? Will they refuse to let me book the package even though I am a "new" cardholder? Anyone with info?

Noodles,
I'm not sure on that! I can't imagine how they know who got inserts and who didn't?

I don't make the rules, but it seems to me that business is business and money is money, whether you are a new card holder or not!!! Heck, if I want to go to Disney, spend all that money and put it on a credit card, why is Bank One putting up such a stink giving the deal to existing card members?? They aren't too bright, as most people will put their money on a different piece of plastic!! They should do the math...how many folks here would book a vacation and pay on their Bank One card right now if they were offered "the deal"???? CHA CHING!!!

Duh, Bank One!!
