Booked bounceback and need to shorten stay

We just booked bounceback for 2 rooms 8 nights for next September. DH and I will go for 8 nights, but found out that DS and DDIL will only be able to stay for 5 nights. Will there be a problem with shortening the stay, or will I have to make another reservation

No problem. Last year I changed a day on my bounceback. When you call tell them its for a bounceback ressie and they had to let me talk to different people [transfered the call].

As long as your new check in date is covered under the bounceback dates, it won't be problem. I've booked bounceback deals, then changed the dates and even the resort without a problem. In fact, I currently have a bounceback trip booked for Nov 27th-Dec 4th that I changed the resort and dates for a few months ago. My only problem was that I really needed Nov 26th-Dec 4th and the bounceback deal that I booked when I was there last May did not cover Nov 26th. When I switched dates, I had to book Nov 26th as a room only at full price, then when the AP discount came out I switched that first night to the AP discount. The bounceback covered every night of my new dates, except that first night. If I had booked the trip as just one stay, I would have lost the bounceback discount, because it wouldn't have been in effect at the time of check in.

We checked in on Sept 16 and there was a paper in the room for the bounceback

We were the Sept 10th-18th and there was a flyer in our room all week. Maybe the previous guest just took the flyer when they left. Not that it helps now but for future reference, if you had just called X8844 from your room and asked what bounceback deals might be available, you would have gotten it.
