Thanks! We really did enjoy every minute of that vacation! So restful and loved being with family, both here and in VA.

Your vacation seemed like such a great time... love all the pictures. The girls look so happy!!

Don't even get me started on how tall they are my goodness!!

Hope the girls had a great day at school!

Hi Ferb!!:wave2:

Hi Ferb!!:wave2:

Welcome back to the Dis!! Glad to hear that life is getting back to normal.
We had a great vacation, thanks! And yes, 47 does sound kinda long still...but you are right, it's all relative and as long as the count is going I am happy!:)
The girls first day went well..and yeah, they are HUGE!! I need to stop feeding them!! :rotfl: How's your little guy doing? Hope all is well!

We're going to Raglan Road for the first time this trip. Super excited for it!

Love Love Love Raglan Rd...can't wait to just be there listening to the music...might need a Guinness after traveling all day!:drinking1

I've been having issues with photobucket too and I usually never do

A couple of planning updates today...
I forgot to mention that we bought our MNSSHP tickets last week!!! How could I forget?! It was a crazy day when we got them....but no excuses!!!:sad2:

Anyways, we are soooo excited to know that we are going for sure! We used the money that was our security deposit for the mountain house, and we were just waiting for that to come back. We got a little nervous because we know that the night we are going is the Fri before Halloween and will sell out for sure...just not sure when. We have Pirate's League appts for all of us that day and here is a refresher of our costumes:

Rapunzel will be a mermaid:

Stitch will be Angelica:

I will be a mermaid:

And Ferb will be a Jack Sparrow pirate....

Just click on the link..sorry no pic downloaded for that one.

I have ordered all but Stitch's costume. Rapunzel's is on back order and I just ordered mine and Ferb's. I will get to Stitch's next pay.

My next order of business...
Disney announced that they released the Android version of My Disney Experience today...and I downloaded it. It seems pretty basic...haven't really had a chance to mess around with it...trying to figure out how the wait times work and such. But I am so excited that we will have something live to use....being here in Canada it was very expensive to get a roaming data plan to use in WDW...now with the Wifi availability we can use my phone with wifi!!! WOOHOO!!!

That's all for this update...gonna work on another daily plan post!

Edited to add that I just bit the bullet on Stitch's costume...got it on sale on Amazon...went for an adult medium because it was $10 cheaper than the adult small and if it needs to be adjusted we will....easier to take in than to let out.

Okay, back to the daily plans!

Day Two
Tuesday Oct 23

It's our first park day....and it's Magic Kingdom..of course!:yay:
Park hours are listed as 9-7 with MNSSHP that night. There are an awful lot of you going that night I think. We are waiting until later in the week when we don't have a park planned. We may run into some of you after 4, though!:dance3:

As I said in a previous post I have been messing around with Touring Plans and Ridemax. I haven't gotten anything perfect yet, but I think Touring plans is closest on this particular day...

We will begin our day with breakfast at WBC. Drive to the TTC and take hopefully the Ferry if it's there. I like the Ferry! Anyways, we plan to be there as early as possible. It would be lovely to get a pic in front of the train station without anyone else there.
Once the park is open we will head over to Merida's M&G and leave Ferb and Rapunzel there while Stitch and I go ride Space Mountain. Then we will meet back up with them.
Once this is done, we will ride PPF but then head out of Fantasyland to go over to Frontierland and ride BTMRR, then head over to POC. Then back over to Fantasyland to grab Dumbo FP's before grabbing lunch at CHH.
After lunch it's Barnstormer, use the Dumbo FP, Mad Tea Party, then watch the Move it Shake it Celebrate it parade.

Then it's up to grab FP's for the princesses. We will walk ALL the way back to ride HM, IASW, then grab FP for Buzz, ride the Peoplemover, then head all the way back up front to meet Mickey and use the FP for the princesses. We can watch the Celebrate a Dream Come True parade when we get out. Then use our Buzz FP, grab a FP for Space Mountain and catch Monster's Inc. Then head ALL the way over to Jungle Cruise followed by dinner at Casey's. After dinner we will use the SM FP then ride Winnie The Pooh, watch Mickey' Philharmagic and then leave.

***?! Really? This is what happens when you try to "optimize" Touring Plans. OMG!! All that zig zagging back and forth....I really can't see us doing that. I might start doing it and not tell them what is next and just start walking and see if they revolt!:lmao: We might have a mutiny on our hands!!pirate:

Okay, in reality, what will probably happen will be a visit to meet Merida, a tour of Fantasyland, followed by a tour of Fronteirland, lunch at Pecos Bills, followed by a tour of Adventureland and then we will head over to Tomorrowland and then realize we forgot something like HM and head there before we leave for the day. Less organized, more meandering....more relaxed!! I love the idea of a touring plan, but in practice all that running back and forth is not our style! Plus, we have three days at the MK to take our time and make sure we ride our faves multiple times!

We will be back at Bonnet Creek by 7:30 by the latest and in bed early because we have an early morning ahead of us again tomorrow!!

Day 3
Wednesday Oct 24

Today we will tackle Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Park hours are listed as 9-8. I say tackle because it starts out like the rushing of a football game...or rugby....whatever, you get what I mean?! The Toy Story Midway Mania mad dash!!! Watch out!! :duck: Here come all the crazies trying to beat you to the FP machines!!!:dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer:
I told you to watch out!!:crutches:

Anyhoo:rolleyes1...we have a plan...Ferb goes for the FP's and the girls and I carefully walk to the stand-by line and wait for Ferb to meet us then we get in line and ride. This has always worked in the past, even on crazy mornings like ESPN weekends...bty, don't go to DHS that weekend, no matter what people tell you, it DOES affect crowds and ride wait times!!

Once we are done there we will head over to Star Tours and ride while we are waiting for Phineas and Ferb to start their M&G. When we are done with them we will do Muppets, then maybe Star Tours again. We will want to get some FP's for Rock and Roller Coaster at some point so Stitch can ride with both Ferb and myself. Rapunzel is still afraid of that one. Ferb needs to ride ToT at least once so I may send him to get those FP's while I take the girls into VOTLM or something equally tame. Rapunzel loves The Great Movie Ride so that's a must as well.

We MAY take an afternoon break since WBC is literally down the road. We will have lunch there if we do, then dinner is at 50's Prime Time at 5:30 and then we will need to get in line for Fantasmic after dinner. Hopefully they will add another show....I think the last update to park hours should be soon right? Anyways, that's our DHS day...it's again much more fluid than TP and RideMax suggest it should be. We may follow Ridemax more on this one, but they don't acct for character M&G like I wish they would. And TP had wait times for Merida all wrong on the MK day so I really don't think I can trust them with that.

We will head back to WBC after Fantasmic as the park will be closed. We have a rest day tomorrow, so if we are wired for sound we may head over to DTD for ice cream...Love me some Ghirardelli's!!

Okay, back to the daily plans!

I totally hear you on the zig-zag touring plans thing! Honestly, I just don't see how people can plan what rides when before even leaving home at all. My mind just CANNOT process that much information. My family would rise up in mutiny too if I had the entire day planned for them! :crazy2:

I am not sure HOW we are going to handle the new "ARR" (advanced ride reservation) fast pass system that is being tested right now. Gives me one of these :headache: just thinking about it... :sad2: I mean, are we gonna have to take a binder with ride time spreadsheets with us into the parks?!? :scared:

...now watch, after all this griping about it I will probably be the biggest proponent of the new system ever after it gets off the ground. :rolleyes1 :lmao:

I downloaded the My Disney Experience app too and wasn't impressed with it. The people that already had it (the Iphoners) made such a big deal out of it. Am I missing something?

:lmao: I hear ya! That would be funny if you ended up LOVING it!! But, to someone like me who likes to plan and plan and plan...I think I'm gonna love it. Provided it's available to ALL guests!!

Okay, so I took some time and messed around a bit. I am still not sure if I love it or not. But, I figured out how to get wait times, FP return times, dining reservations, and character schedules. To me, that's all I really need. But only time will tell on how accurate it is. It was fun to see how long the wait at TSMM was yesterday, though!

Sounds like a good day at DHS! So far, those two park days are swapped for us since we will be at DHS on Tuesday and MK on Wednesday. :goodvibes

Aw vamp Mickey is so cute :)

It was Ferb's idea..I was just going to google Disney characters that started with a V...Stitch suggested Vidia...but when I saw that pic of Mickey, I thought, HOW CUTE!!

Yeah, hopefully they will add a second Fantasmic and it will be easier at the end , that means no Ghirardelli that night, but I will find time to get in that fix for sure!

Are we crossing over any days? I can't remember?

I am a hurtin' unit today, folks. Totally self inflicted, but still....:rolleyes1

My friend had a house warming party last night, and I know that when I am over tired I shouldn't drink. But knowing that and adhering to that, well that's two completely different things. So, here I am finally feeling better...wasted a beautiful day outside...it was hot and clear and gorgeous, but I spent the day in bed with a glass of water and some pretzels.:sad2:

Moving on, today marks 40 days until our vacation!:cool1: So excited!! My friend from work is down there right now and she sent me a message on FB saying they are having a wonderful time....I am glad because I basically planned their trip from start to finish. I was so afraid that they would drink the kool-aid and not like it! But, they love it!! :woohoo: Can't wait to hear all about it from her so I can get uber exited all over again!!:cool1:

That's all for now...hope everyone is doing well!
