I won't be updating my DL TR since I am about to go to bed. But I will have one more update of MNSSHP trip report. So stay tune for the next update or updates if I can fit the rest of the fireworks on the 2nd post.

Day 5 – October 30, 2012 – Part 24​

On our last update we just finished watching Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade and now we are at MS to get ready to watch the 9:30pm HalloWishes fireworks. I have been looking forward to HalloWishes fireworks a lot since this is a great firework show during MNSSHP. I have heard that Halloween Screams Fireworks Spectacular at Disneyland during Mickey’s Halloween Party uses music scenes from HalloWishes fireworks. So I knew that this was going to be a fun firework show to watch. So let’s get to HalloWishes fireworks from that night.

It was 9:30pm and it was time for HalloWishes fireworks. I have been looking forward to this firework show a lot since it is similar to HalloWishes in that they use the same soundtrack. There are some differences with each firework show which HS has Zero flying in the sky which is amazing to see as well as the giant projection sphere on the left hand side of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

During HalloWishes fireworks, I didn’t put my DSLR on my tripod for the firework trail since I was using my tripod so I can videotape the show. I was torn of not using my tripod for the firework trail but I have never videotaped HalloWishes since this was my first time seeing the firework show. Maybe when I come back to the MK for MNSSHP, I will use my tripod for the firework trails the next time. Now it’s time for pictures from HalloWishes fireworks.

Day 5 – October 30, 2012 – Part 26​

There were some fireworks launching from other directions

HalloWishes was over and it was even better than I have expected. HalloWishes fireworks have lived up to my expectations and it was great to see this firework show after seeing Halloween Screams at DL during Mickey’s Halloween Party. HS uses most of the soundtracks as HalloWishes and it was nice that we were able to see the fireworks that night.

After watching the fireworks, my aunt and DB wanted to go home since we have done the parade and fireworks. I wanted to stay a little longer but I did the things that I wanted to do that night. So we head on down towards the exit. While we were walking down, I got some more pictures of the MS buildings with all the different lightings.

It was really busy while walking down on MS while most of the people are leaving the park just like us.

We exited the MK and now we head on over to the Resort Monorail station. With the Express line closed during the party, this was one of two ways to get back to the T&TC. I thought of going towards the ferry instead of the monorail since there were a lot of people that were heading on over to the monorail. But my aunt doesn’t like to go on boat rides so we head on over to the monorail line.

My DB and I experienced this before during MVMCP last year and two years ago when my DA and I attended MVMCP in 2010. We saw huge crowds on over at the Resort Monorail line since the Express Monorail line was closed during the party. We rode the ferry instead of waiting at the Resort Line to get on the monorail. This time we had to go through the Resort line since my aunt doesn’t like to ride on boats.

It took quite some time to get through the station since there were a lot of people that were taking the monorail to the resorts and the T&TC.

We finally got on the monorail with about 10 minutes when we got in line that night and we rode the monorail all the way to the T&TC. It was so full that we barely had any room to move. We were all standing while on the monorail. I mostly stand on the Mark VI while you can’t at DL.

We were at the T&TC and head on over to our car. But we had to take the tram over to the Villain’s parking lot since that is where we parked our car that day.

It was around 10:30pm when we got back to the Sheraton VIstana Resort and we talked to our other relatives of what they have done that night. They went to the Premium Outlet Mall right by Highway 4 that night. They did quite a lot of shopping that day.

We went to our room and called it for the night.

This was a great day at the MK where we got to do MNSSHP and unexpectedly went to the New Fantasyland to have lunch and ride the Little Mermaid ride. We all got to go on a lot of different rides that day. This was a fun day and glad that we had all of these unexpected things that happened to us.

Now that this day was over the next day will be at EPCOT during Halloween day. I thought about doing MNSSHP on Halloween day, but the price and it will be busier than the 30th which was a perfect day to go to the park.

That’s it for this update at the MK and the next day will be at EPCOT and hoping that the Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT will not be as busy as the other day.

HalloWishes fireworks was amazing. Glad that we were able to see it that night. We only spent about less than 3 hours during the party since my DB and aunt didn't want to stay after the fireworks was over. I didn't want to force them to stay just for me and I was a little tired from that day with the MK and MNSSHP. Maybe next time if I ever attend MNSSHP that I will use my time wisely.

Nice wrap up! I'm glad to hear EPCOT wasn't so busy the next day you visited.

This will be my last update for a while since I will be at the DLR this Saturday the 12th to the 14th with my aunt who came with me during the WDW trip in October/November. We are also bringing her BF and her DD2 which will be her first time to go to DL. So I am trying to make this trip a memorable one for her. I haven’t done too many updates on my trip report since I have basketball season and it has been a lot of work and time. So let’s get to the next update.

Day 6 – October 31, 2012 – Part 1​

On the other day at the MK, we got to do a lot of different things that were expected and surprisingly. As you know that we went to the MK that day and were able to go to the New Fantasyland with Be Our Guest Restaurant and the Little Mermaid ride. We also attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party which was amazing and fun to attend. Now it is a new day where we only have two more full days in Orlando until it was time to head on home.

The next day which was Halloween day the 31st which I am mostly at home waiting at night to greet the trick or treaters. It been a long time since I am away from home on Halloween day and I am so glad that I am here with my family members to spend it.

Once again like the other days in the morning, our aunt was up again cooking breakfast for the two of us. I mention to everyone that we should think of having a real breakfast in the morning at some restaurant. But they aren’t that interested in it too much. So we had a nice breakfast with bacon, sausage and hash browns which we got the other day.

After we finished breakfast and clean up the kitchen, we all got dressed and met up with our other members of our group which they are right next door to us at the Sheraton Vistana Resort. We got in our cars and head on over to the WDW and this time was back to EPCOT. The first time we went to EPCOT on Saturday it was so packed where it was tough to go to the food stands at World Showcase during the Food and Wine Festival. So we are hoping that this day will be a lot better than Saturday. I knew that this would be a better day with less crowds.

We got to EPCOT around 9:30am which was 30 minutes after the park opened at 9am. But we had plenty of time to do a lot of different things that day since we got a lot of rides done on Saturday. So this day is to get some rides done while going around World Showcase to try the different food stands.

It was a very nice day where it was a little cloudy and the weather was very nice.

We went through the turnstiles and the first thing we did was head on over to the wheelchair and ECV rental area so my aunt and uncle don’t have to walk around the park where EPCOT is very large.

When we got the ECV and wheelchair, the first ride that we have done that day was Spaceship Earth. We didn’t ride it the other day since we were busy. I knew that we had to get on this ride since it is a classic ride and one of the oldest rides at EPCOT.

All of us had to go through the handicapped side since we had an ECV and wheelchair. I thought about going through the regular entrance where it was fast but than we had to go back to the front entrance to get the wheelchair and ECV. We had to wait on the side while we are able to board Spaceship Earth.

We had to wait a while until we are allowed on the ride which took 10 minutes to get on Spaceship Earth. I knew that if we went through the regular queue that we would get on quickly.

Now we are on Spaceship Earth and here are pictures from the ride with my DSLR camera. It is a dark ride where I couldn’t get a lot of pictures in specific scenes.

After we got off the ride, we were now back at Project Tomorrow: Inventing the Wonders of the Future where there are some attractions to do when you get off Spaceship Earth. We did stay in the room awhile to try the attractions.

We exited Project Tomorrow and now about to head on over to our next destination. But that will be during another post since I am out of pictures. This will be the last update until I get back from my DL trip this upcoming weekend.

It's been awhile since I am on my TR after a great trip last week. I will be restarting the WDW trip report so stay tune for the next update later tonight.

Day 6 – October 31, 2012 – Part 2​

On the last update, we just got in at EPCOT for our 2nd time during the trip. We just got off riding Spaceship Earth and now we are on our way over to our next destination at EPCOT during the Food & Wine Festival which we are all excited about.

When we got out of Spaceship Earth, we went on over towards Food and Wine Festival Center to see the rest of the center. We did get to see it one time during our first day at EPCOT but we didn’t spend much time in it. So this time we plan on going inside and seeing the rest of it that day.

While we were heading on over to the Festival Center, the park was kind of busy that day with more and more people coming in. But it wasn’t that busy as Saturday where it was just crazy.

Before we head on over to the Festival Center, we stopped at over Universe of Energy building where it was our next attraction to go on.

It wasn’t time to enter the UoE so while we were waiting, I got a few pictures of the flowers around the area until it was time to head on in.

When we finished UoE which did took a while to go through the ride and then we head on over towards the Festival Center to see the rest of the F&WF activities.

On the way up to the Festival Center, I got more pictures of the flowers and plants on the way up.

We now enter the former Wonders of Life building and which is the F&WF Center during the F&WF. Now we enter the building to see all the different activities. There were a lot of different things to do in the center including merchandise stands that sell wine, cooking equipment, shirts, etc. that involves the F&WF.

It also have a kitchen that is used for demonstrations for the guests to try the food which we did the Party for the Senses.

Some of us just wondered around while I head on over to the Ghirardelli area where it talks about the history of Ghirardelli.

When I enter the Ghirardelli room, it talks about the history of Ghirardelli.

While I was in the room, there were Disney chocolate art works of Cinderella Castle, Fantasmic, etc. I was amazed at the art work with chocolate and matches the Disney theme of the characters, castle, & shows.

After looking at the chocolate work at the Ghirardelli room, I met up with the rest of my party and we all started to head on out. But before we did that, I had to get some pins during the F&WF.

After getting some merchandise at the store in the Festival Center, we head on out and off to our next destination.

While we exited, we head on over towards World Showcase. The day was really nice and it wasn’t as busy as the other day on Saturday. So we are hoping that it won’t be that busy to get food at the food stands.

On the way over to World Showcase, we got to look at Test Track where it was closed during its refurbishment. It would have been nice to ride Test Track during our visit with the new updates to the ride. But it will be another time when I get the opportunity to ride TT.

Day 6 – October 31, 2012 – Part 3​

On the last update, we just got in at EPCOT for our 2nd time during the trip. We were at the former Wonders of Life building which is the home to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Center. It was neat to go to the Festival Center to see all the different things exhibits and stores. After looking through the Festival Center, we started to head on over to World Showcase to try the different food stands.

We just got in at World Showcase and we haven’t eaten anything yet and it was a great time to have some food at the food stands at World Showcase. This time the stands at World Showcase are not as long as it was the other day so it was a perfect day to have food during the F&WF. We were close to the Australia and Argentina stands, we decided to eat at both stands and try the different food.

We got a few plates at both stands and we had a small snack. We were standing right by World Showcase Lagoon where it was nice and clear that day.

Just when we got our food at the Argentina and Australia stand, my uncle’s got some Dos Equis Beer at the Mexico stand. We all tried all the different food from the Argentina and Australia stand and the one that I really like the most was the Empanada from Argentina. We did take some time to eat the food at the three stands.

When we were done, we moved on over to the Mexico pavilion. Just like the other stands when we got to World Showcase, the Mexico F&WF stand had no one in line.

When we passed by the Mexico stand, I decided to have one more helping before we enter the Mexico pavilion. So I head on over to the stand and ordered the Taco de Filete with Beef Tenderloin with cascabel pepper sauce, and scallions, served on a flour tortilla.

I also like the Tace de Filete with the cascabel pepper sauce. My DB and uncles got a couple of tacos while we were walking on in the Mexico pavilion.

When we entered the pavilion, everyone went to the merchandise stands to see all the Mexico merchandise. I was still eating my food while we were walking inside the pavilion.

After they went around the stands, we all met up and went on Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros ride. It is a fun ride to go on when I am at the Mexico pavilion which features Donald Duck, Jose Carioca and Panchito. It took us quite a while to get on the ride since my uncle and aunt was in the wheelchair and ECV. But it was a walk-on that day so it was no problem.
