I hope your fellow passengers were kind. I too try to smile if I make eye contact. Luckily my little guy has slept like clockwork on all of our flights.
Ugh! That sounds like a tough flight. I don't envy you traveling with a 2 year old. My brother and SIL are flying from CA to FL next year to meet us in Disney and my nephew will be 2 1/2 then. I think they are going to take a red eye. Maybe that will help...
Hopefully when you touched down it got a little more magical.
Oh no about the flight!That must have been really trying. I've been on a lot of flights when the parents get that panicked look in their eyes that nothing is working. I always feel so bad, wishing I could help!
I always feel so sorry for parents whose child starts to screm during a flight! There isn't much you can do and you know that everyone around you is annoyed. I try to smile at them if I have a chance to make eye contact.

That is precisely why I did not let my kids board a plan until they were 6 and 8. LOL. I was terrified that flying with them would turn into a disaster. Poor little guy - I hope he stopped screaming really quickly and your fellow passengers were not too annoyed!
He's usually (from what it seems) so well behaved too! Typical 2 year old though LOL
I felt so bad when he started to scream! Like I said in my last set of replies, it wasn't a crying scream it was just screaming. MAn that kid can scream like nobodies business!! YIKES! So pleased your DD was well enough to travel and I bet you were glad when your flight was over

The older 2 where 5 and almost 4 when they first flew and they were great! Aside from the fact that we discovered that DS6 gets motion sick

We've been on the having a screamer side and the listening to a screamer side. It's just the chance you take when you get on a plane. It's not pleasant on either side, but people who get upset about it should have known going in that it's just a fact of flying.
