Bonded Leather Couch?

So our local HEB (grocery store) is advertising a "bonded leather" couch for Black Friday that is from Ashley Furniture for $399. It looks nice in the ad but we all know how they can make things look

Anyway, does anyone have a bonded leather couch or know what it is and if they hold up well?

Here's an article about bonded leather.

When we bought our new furniture a few weeks ago, we considered a bonded leather set, but ended up getting a microfiber one that looks and feels like leather, but has a proven track record and a better warrantee.

Thank you for the reply. I had saw that article as well but was hoping to get some "real life" experiences from those who may have a bonded leather couch or know someone who does?
